The room is a good size with basic furnishings. It's in a good location but has noisy neighbours. The owner showed us to the room. Next day a lady was in the kitchen (owner/cleaner?). I was there and was not impressed. It's a hassle to get in touch with the owner. She's a wannabe European from the southern US who is overly impressed with herself. There is no luggage storage. The beds are uncomfortable. Rooms were overpriced for what you got. I would not stay here again. No air conditioning. more

My husband and I stayed here in mid-November 2006. Deborah and her husband were very gracious hosts. She provided great restaurants, museums to go to that we did not know about and very helpful information about how to get to Lucca. The room was spare yet beautiful. Very quiet.
