My husband and I stayed at Siena Rooms for one night. The room itself was not terrible but it didn't seem like it had been cleaned before we came. The floors were very dusty and there was bird poo all over the balcony. It was in an ok location, very close to Il Campo and very far from the train... more

Siena Rooms was a very good place to stay. If you are looking for fancy accomodations with lots of amenities this is not the place for you. However, if you are looking for a decent, clean place to sleep in Siena and want to be in a great location Siena rooms is worth checking out. Our room was comfortable, clean... more

The room is a good size with basic furnishings. It's in a good location but has noisy neighbours. The owner showed us to the room. Next day a lady was in the kitchen (owner/cleaner?). I think seeing there is a kitchen the provision of a kettle would be a nice touch. Seems a waste really. No brochures or help with... more

I am an adventurer that travels quite a bit. I highly recommend this hidden gem of a hotel to anyone that is looking for the best location to stay in while visiting Siena for the most affordable prices. The rooms of this family run hotel are very clean and efficient. It is the perfect home base to have when you... more

This was a great room, close to the Campo, and walking distance to all major sites. Deborah is an American who is married to an Italian man and speaks Italian fluently. It was great talking to her about life in Siena, the contrada, politics in Italy, things to see . . . She was very helpful throughout our stay. The... more

As a solo traveller on a limited budget I was nervous about unseen accommodation. Siena Rooms and the hostess Deborah is wonderful and the site and simplicity of the shared apartment is perfect for me. It is winter in Siena and my bedroom and private bathroom at 8 via di Diacceto warm and the shower hot. I share a kitchen... more

My boyfriend and I just got back from New Year's Eve in SIena, Italy and had a fabulous stay at Affittacamere Attilio (www.sienarooms.info). The city was crowded, but Attilio's rooms right in the center of town were still a quiet refuge, and so close to the Piazza El Campo and everything else! One of the nicest places we stayed in... more

Siena Rooms was great for us - no real view from our room (in the back) but of neighboring rooftops, but that did not matter much, its a minute walk to il Campo. Deborah was great and efficient, we met her at the door of her place and she walked us over. We paid 70 euro in May. The opening... more

I was there and was not impressed. It's a hassle to get in touch with the owner. She's a wannabe European from the southern US who is overly impressed with herself. There is no luggage storage. The beds are uncomfortable. Rooms were overpriced for what you got. I would not stay here again. No air conditioning. more

My husband and I stayed here in mid-November 2006. Deborah and her husband were very gracious hosts. She provided great restaurants, museums to go to that we did not know about and very helpful information about how to get to Lucca. The room was spare yet beautiful. Very quiet. AND we thoroughly enjoyed the bar that was below the room.... more
