We have just returned from a brilliant week at Podere Il Pero and we didn't want to leave. Gianni is a brilliant host - nothing is too much trouble. The accommodation is clean, spacious and in a great location being not far from the main road and easy to locate whilst also being set within beautiful grounds. We walked into... More

Podere Il Pero is a great choice if you have a car but don't want to deal with Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL). I easily booked 2 double rooms for our family through an e-mail correspondence with Gianni. He graciously offered me a small family discount. His prices are very reasonable, rooms are comfy and clean, garden is beautiful, and breakfast... More

This is a fantastic place to stay if planning to visit Siena and the Tuscany area. My husband and I recently stayed here as part of our honeymoon and spent a wonderful week at Podere Il Pero. Gianni was a fabulous host and made sure our needs were continuously met and was available to answer any questions and give recommendations... More

This B@B was recommended by the owner of our B@B in Lucca. We were lucky to be able to stay 3 nights at this lovely place. Gianni was available and very helpful and friendly The property is lovely with a gazebo to sit under to enjoy time or a nice glass of wine after our visits to the wine country!... More

We used Podere il Pero for a lovely 3 nights with friends and family as a base for exploring Tuscany. It is well located outside of the historical centre of Siena and just off the highway which gives the best of both worlds. It's a 5 min bus ride into the historical centre or 20 ish minute walk (it's a... More

We stayed here for one night, and it was a great stay! Gianni was extremely helpful and kind, the room was rustic, clean and charming. It's a lovely place with walking distance to the city centre of Siena! We had a great nights sleep, and woke up early the next morning with a walk around the dewy-grassed grounds. Would definitely... After having a small adventure with the Italian rail system, we arrived late at Podere Il Pero and thought we had died and gone to heaven. Our host, Gianni, was extremely kind and kept the office open for us until our train arrived in Siena. We had just spent a few days in Rome and the quiet and serene setting... More

During our holiday in the Tuscan area in Italy we visited Sienna and stayed for several days at Gianni’s pension. It is a nice place within a short distance to the historical inner city. There is also a bus stop very close – just a few stops to the cathedral. Our room was very clean and the furniture is typical... More

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed staying in this beautifully renovated farmhouse. Everything was clean, accessible and Gianni was very friendly and helpful. We loved the pleasant garden and the view from our room. The beds were so comfortable and the shutters blocked the light so well that we slept right past breakfast. Gianni said he was glad his beds... More

This is a great find to stay in Siena without having to be right in the heart of the city. We had a car, so parking was key for us, and I'm so glad we stayed with Gianni. He's super friendly, accommodating and available. He gave us great suggestions for dining, helped us map out our visit to Siena, and... More
