Located just a little outside the city. It is still convenient with buses to the city center. Just remember to buy bus tickets with the hotel before you take a bus. Even if you miss the last bus, walking back at night is safe. Giacomo was very welcoming and even helped us check out concertos in the city! On another... More

Palazzo di Valli is an excellent place to stay for a visit to Siena. My husband and I stayed for two nights. The hotel is quiet and relaxing and the staff very helpful. We had a beautiful room (No 27) on the first flood with great view of Siena. Breakfast is very good and served at the lovely terrace of... More

Yes, this has been a palazzo, but one would expect something different by its name. This is more a converted mansion at the fringe of Siena. The campo is 15 minutes walking, the taxi costs less than 10 euro. Entrance is narrow, but parking is good. Lovely veranda for breakfast, however without shades or parasols. Breakfast is standard Italian, nothing... More

We loved, loved, loved it there. The location was perfect (a few blocks from the south gate to Siena, right along the bus route). The setting was perfect (our room overlooked the large terrace and had a million dollar view of the expansive, gorgeous tuscan countryside). We could not have asked for a better staff (Lorenzo and Jacquomo helped us... More

I have to concur with the other reviews; this is a wonderful place to stay. The staff are polite and helpful, the setting is beautiful (breakfast on the terrace overlooking the Tuscan countryside); it was perfect. As other people have mentioned, you can take a bus from the hotel into the city center, or you can walk....we preferred to walk,... More

Absolutely wonderful stay just outside the city walls of the best city in Tuscany - Siena. Beautiful views of the Tuscan countryside out of your hotel room window, while still being only a ten minute walk to the Porta Romana, and your entrance into the old city walls of Siena. We were told there is also a bus which travels... More

Drive up a beautiful driveway into this tucked away gem. Enjoy sprawling views of tuscany hills as well as the ever so gorgeous Siena city line. These guys really run a great hotel. It's a bit older but the views alone are worth it. Each room has a huge window that looks over something incredible. The staff provide a fantastic... More

We spent an amazing three fun packed days in Siena but the Highlight was this wonderful Villa and the amazing staff. Lorenzo from the moment we walked in the door was the best we could have asked for. His knowledge of the area, Restaurant recommendations and suggestions on where to go and visit outside the Siena were spot on. Our... More

Sit down on the terrace with a bottle of wine, some cheese and bread from the local supermarket, and feast your eyes on the incredible view of the Tuscan hillside. Then head to your charming room, with it's shuttered windows, blue tiled bathroom, and comfy bed for a great sleep (I have to interject a little suggestion here- there is... More

We loved our stay, the views are absolutely stunning. Lorenzo greeted us and made us feel so welcome, we had a car and asked Lotenzo about day trips around the area, we followed his advice and it was spot on. Breakfast is sufficient, and great coffee made to order, the breakfast waiter, is so friendly and happy. Eating breakfast on... More
