Palazzo di Valli is well located and offers an absolutely amazing view of the cenese hills. The rooms are lovely and bring you back in time with all the afrescos painted on the ceiling. The room we stayed in had a 200 year old painting! The staff is extremely helpful, you can count on them for anything you need. It... More

At first, we were worried about the distance from the hotel to il Campo, but that was a non-issue, as the super convenient buses that drop you right in the center of town have stops literally right outside the gates of Palazzo di Valli. The service we received during our two night stay was superb. The staff was very welcoming... More

I could not have chosen a better place to stay in Siena. Having an amazing view of the countryside and breathing fresh air was just wonderful. The customer service was great! Giacomo and Lorenzo went out of their way to make us feel at home. Breakfast was buffet style and was very delicious. The room was very clean and comfortable.... More

Peaceful location with wonderful views within a 15 walk into town. We used Sienna as a base from which to explore Tuscany and wanted to be on the edge of town so we could easily get in and out. Lorenzo was extremely helpful with his suggestions of places to visit, roads to take and restaurants. The property is quite nice.... More

A really nice place to stay. The welcome couldn't have been more friendly and informative. The hotel is in some ways more a villa with rooms than a hotel - it feels like you are in a private villa not an anonymous guest in an anonymous hotel. The room we had was a large room with a high vaulted and... More

We chose this property based on reviews on this site and it did not disappoint. A lovely little villas outside the city gates, it offers beautiful views across the Chianti region with each room a bit unique. Upon arrival, you check in in the living room area of the building and immediately know this is going to be a unique... More

Lorenzo and Giacomo are so welcoming. From the minute we got here, they did whatever they could to make us feel comfortable. We loved this place. It was near the end of our honeymoon, and we got a great room on the top floor with a wonderful view of the rolling Tuscan countryside. The views at this place are OUTSTANDING.... More

My wife and I began to plan our dream vacation to Italy last February, and determined that for our first experience we wanted to experience the usual three destinations, Rome, Florence, and Venice, as well as spend added time in Tuscany. I was looking for something central and became intrigued with the photographs from Palazzo di Valli. The more I... More

We took a bus from Firenze to Siena and the first thing that hit us as soon as we exited Firenze were the rolling greens with the olive and cypress trees. This nicely set the tone for a relaxing few days in Siena. The Palazzo di valli is snugly located a couple of miles outside Siena with a panoramic view... More

The view from the courtyard/terrace has to be seen in order to accurately describe. It was relaxing, a great photo op, and a place to enjoy some wine combined with a serene atmosphere. The rooms do not have a "wow" factor but they are quite functional and go with the age of the facility. We walked most of the time... More
