Very nice estate. Breakfast is absolutely great. So you would assume dinner would be also, nope, Indian chef I think who doesn't really have an idea. But the rooms were brilliant, but the morning waiter can't remember his name, but be was amazing, could speak italian and was a legend. Quite close to city centre also

After finishing a 15 day hiking trip in the Alps decided to spend a week in Siena. This hotel was the perfect place it has everything. Great location/super staff/ good food/ outstanding grounds/close enough to Siena for good access but far enough from the mobs of people. Train station and stores are within walking distance. We found the staff always... More

We stayed in the biggest apartment for 5 nights in August. This was supposed to be our break in the middle of many weeks exploring the north of Italy so I decided to go for the biggest apartment, thinking bigger is better. It offers two spacious bedrooms but we were only 2 so we occupied only one of them. While... More

Dear Sir, I am very sorry that your days with us didn't satisfy your expectations. In my opinion to avaid misunderstandings is essential a direct contact guests / hotel. This means that - even if you don't use for the reservation the hotel website - guests should try to explain all their needs as best and require for the best... More

We stayed for 4 nights in the Villa. The property is really nice and serene. Beautiful potted plants everywhere, lovely pool and lots of chairs to lounge. COOP really close by for groceries. We followed the signs to the property by going behind COOP and it was very easy to find. However, I do feel that it’s a bit out... More

Borgo Grondaie is a beautiful place to look at. The gardens are amazing and the surrounding terraces and potted lemon trees are so pretty. The traditional, authentic tuscan style accommodation is very nice and in keeping with the theme of the whole place. You have everything you need in the kitchen, a living space and nice bedroom. The bathroom is... More

We felt welcome immediately and were so pleased with our choice for 5 nights. Our room -Villa 3 had a delightful balcony which we enjoyed sitting out on and relishing the view and serenity. The dining experience could not be beat either at breakfast , lunch or dinner. We had a hard time forcing ourselves to go anywhere else. I... More

Lovely place to stay, the staff are so friendly and helpful. On planning our day trips the reception staff were fantastic! Our room was large, clean and was everything we needed. The pool was a welcome treat after a day around the city. It's a decent walk into Siena (about 30 minutes) and as I had a bad back we... More

It's a beautiful place outside the city. Plan on having car if you want to stay here. Kids enjoyed the swimming pool. We had a one bedroom apartment that was upgraded to a one bedroom with the loft. Room was very spacious. But housekeeping does not come every day. Breakfast was great but was the only place we paid for... More

This is a well run hotel in fabulously restored buildings. Booking through Expedia was hugely problematic but Amina at the hotel contacted my directly to query the three bookings that had gone through when only one was needed. If she hadn't, I could have been billed for £600 more than I was actually trying to spend. The rooms are all... More

Lovely place, very friendly and helpful staff, children loved the pool. Distance to old town wasn't a problem because we are used to walk and use public transport (and seldom rent a car when traveling in Italy).
