Le Chiarine is a great option in Siena. We stayed 3 nights over Easter weekend, and the B&B was very quiet, yet only 10-15 mins walk from the historical centre. The breakfast was good each day, and the room spacious. The owners were also very helpful and friendly. A great option.

Bed and Breakfast Le Chiarine is tucked away from the city, but not too far of a walk to get to the main area. Easy walking distance to city center, right by the soccer stadium. The room was spacious, the private bathroom had plenty of room. Opening the windows and seeing beautiful Tuscany is by far the best part of... More

This was our first stop on a recent one month tour of Italy and we think back of our stay as a highlight. A short walk from il centro, Le Chiarine is in a quiet neighborhood in a 20's era house with spacious rooms, high ceilings, and a balcony overlooking a tree lined street. The women who run it were... We stayed over one night in late March to visit Siena and although we usually like to be in the centre of towns, we really enjoyed staying here, just a ten minute walk to the historic centre, and the most beautiful views over the city on the way. The accommodation is in a very large apartment in an elegant1920s building.... More

This B&B is situated about 10-15 min walt from the centre of Siena. Also about same distance from the bus station area. Our hostess, Chiara, advised us in advance not to travel by train from Florence as the bus is faster, cheaper and arrives at a decent walking distance from the b&b whereas from the train station we would need... This B&B is run by two women named Chiarina. They are both delightful and give 100% to ensure you enjoy your stay. We booked two rooms for the four of us. Although the B&B is small - only 5 rooms - it was very quiet and you would not know anyone else was staying there. The rooms are large and... More

This B&B offers a great location with short walking distances to the centre of Siena. It is situated on the 4th floor of a Classic Italian villa, but has no lift so be prepared. we highly recommend a stay here.

We were surprised when we drove into town to find the B&B in a large apartment building built in 1900 with law offices listed downstairs. We missed it the first few times around the block. And it is a hard 3 story slog with suitcases up the stairs (so this is not for the disabled -- there was no lift)... More

We only stayed for 1 night but found the B&B to be very clean and cozy. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious. Breakfast was incredible! A great spread of homemade cakes and wonderful cappuccino. It only took us 10 min to reach the major sights in Siena and we never felt unsafe walking. There is free parking in front of... More

Le Chiarine is a five bedroom B&B which is part of an office complex. That said, I can think of nowhere else I would want to stay in Sienna. It is located on a quiet tree lined street and yet only a five minute walk to the "old city". In a city thronging with tourists, it is so nice to... More
