VERY loud room... we were unable to sleep because people were yelling and singing outside our window until almost 5am. The room itself is very bare and basic. There is paint peeling in the bathroom and the shower is over the toilet. There is a ceiling fan but it made such a squeeking noise that we could not use it.... More

I have stayed at the Albergo Cannon d'Oro six times and always return, as I plan to this May. The staff is helpful and very cordial. They are always very prompt in their communication. The rooms are clean and I have found the beds to be comfortable. It is a great value for those who need to be budget conscious.... More

We only spend one night in this hotel and found it perfectly fine and great for what you pay. We got a room at the back so there was no street noise. The room is very simple but spotlessly clean and large. Breakfast was the usual carbs + sugar, but there was an expresso machine. The staff are among the... More

We spent 1 night in late October. We asked for a room with Sienna view and we got one with window overlooking the back of hotel with view to Sienna house which was great. The breakfast was ok for us.The location was very good, 10 min. walk to Piaza del Campo and 200 m from bus stop when arriving from other... This "hotel" is ridiculously hard to find and forget about parking your vehicle nearby. We had to park in the free parking lot 2 miles away in public parking and take a taxi back to the hotel, and of course it was the long way around and cost over $18 us dollars. I understand now why you can not cancel... More

Didn't have a reservation when walking into Siena and stumbled across this facility. Friendly staff, nice breakfast, and close proximity to the city central. Stayed in the "attic room" for 50 euro, our sweat deal for the entire trip.

The location is decent and close to the city centre. The staff on the front desk was also friendly. That's about all that was good about this place. Our room was on the second floor right beside a door that people had to open to get to the floor. This door was constantly slamming shut at all hours. And everything... More

Excellent location 0 in the middle of the old town. Big, comfortable and clean rooms. And really low price according to the conditions! Friendly stuff. Breakfasts are the same - sweet and quiet poor, but it is common in Italy. Generally, awesome place! :)

If you want to be treated like a king and live in luxury, go somewhere else. Here, you will carry your bags up the stairs, rely on a fan instead of air conditioning, and get a complimentary breakfast that is adequate, nothing fancy. If, however, you want a nice hotel in the heart of town (2-minutes walk to the Piazza... More

I can honestly say that our arrival was immediately tainted by the fact that we couldn't find the hotel itself. (it was literally hidden in a cave style entrance - and signaled by a minuscule sign). Also the parking as they advertise it - is not next to the hotel. After leaving the luggage in front of the hotel the... More
