We stayed at Palazzo Ravizza for one night on a quick drive through Tuscany and wish we could have stayed longer (if we take another trip we will definitely return to Siena). The property is a beautiful historic building - if you're looking for contemporary or modern rooms you'll be disappointed. We stayed in a standard double on the second... More

We stayed in the loft room of this lovely hotel for 3 nights just prior to New Year. The pictures on the hotel website provide an accurate representation of the place and we couldn't fault our stay in any way. The loft room particularly was large, with a newly updated and modern bathroom. Our King size bed was clean and... More

One small detail keeps this from deserving an excellent review. The hotel is lovely, the restaurant is wonderful, the location is perfect, the staff is polite and very helpful, the room was large and clean with an absolutely breathtaking view over the Tuscan hills into the sunset. The bed was very comfortable. The one surprise was that the wall between... More

A beautiful hotel with hugh airy rooms with lovely en suits. We felt very spoilt here and found everyone else thought it was lovely also. The garden is very quiet and peaceful overlooking terraces, really bliss. There's very handy parking and its in the old part of Siena so perfect for exploring and Il Palio which is why we were... Get the garden-view room otherwise its not worth staying here... Basically, the garden-view looks over the hills of Tuscany. I had a crazy view of rain, thunderstorms, dusk, dawn, and the fog over endless rolling hills. Its so gorgeous! The hotel common areas are quite charming (garden, reading room, etc), which would make great summer hang-outs but seem too chilly... More

This charming hotel within the city walls is a wonderful place to stay. The garden view rooms have an unbelievable view of the Tuscan hills and the sunset. The hotel is steeped in history, and the handout they offer on the history of the property is worth reading. The rooms were well appointed, good sized and comfortable. The breakfast was... More

We stayed at the Palazzo for two nights with our family of four. We had a junior suite facing the garden. It was a great view. The rooms are interesting because of the painted ceilings and 20's decor. However, attention to detail in cleaning is lacking, i.e. lots of dirt and dust! The service staff is pleasant, but not friendly... More

We spent two nights in Siena at the Palazzo Ravizza in early November. We elected to upgrade to the Junior Suite since it was our honeymoon. The room was pretty outdated (comforter very worn, chair haggard, and faded curtains) and water stains were evident on the ceiling. The bathroom was small... even for European standards... and didn't seem very clean.... More

We stayed at the Palazzo Ravizza for one night in October and would love to go back for several days. The hotel was very charming with fantastic views of the Tuscan hills. We were within easy walking distance of the Campo (great place to hang-out and people watch). This was the only accomodation that we had in Italy that had... More

We had a good stay. The rooms are not fancy at all, but pretty comfortable. The views of Tuscany from the guest rooms are amazing. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location within the city is great. The breakfast that they serve is delicious. It is nice that they have a parking lot and an elevator. We will... More
