This charming hotel within the city walls is a wonderful place to stay. The garden view rooms have an unbelievable view of the Tuscan hills and the sunset. The hotel is steeped in history, and the handout they offer on the history of the property is worth reading. The rooms were well appointed, good sized and comfortable. The breakfast was... More

We stayed at the Palazzo for two nights with our family of four. We had a junior suite facing the garden. It was a great view. The rooms are interesting because of the painted ceilings and 20's decor. However, attention to detail in cleaning is lacking, i.e. lots of dirt and dust! The service staff is pleasant, but not friendly... More

We spent two nights in Siena at the Palazzo Ravizza in early November. We elected to upgrade to the Junior Suite since it was our honeymoon. The room was pretty outdated (comforter very worn, chair haggard, and faded curtains) and water stains were evident on the ceiling. The bathroom was small... even for European standards... and didn't seem very clean.... More

We stayed at the Palazzo Ravizza for one night in October and would love to go back for several days. The hotel was very charming with fantastic views of the Tuscan hills. We were within easy walking distance of the Campo (great place to hang-out and people watch). This was the only accomodation that we had in Italy that had... More

We had a good stay. The rooms are not fancy at all, but pretty comfortable. The views of Tuscany from the guest rooms are amazing. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location within the city is great. The breakfast that they serve is delicious. It is nice that they have a parking lot and an elevator. We will... More

That view from our bedroom window at Palazzo Ravizza was our “Tuscany” moment. My partner & I stayed in Siena for 2 nights while visiting Rome and Florence – and Siena took our breath away most of all. We spent the 2 days in Siena strolling, enjoying the street life and shopping. The Duomo in Siena was our favorite church... More

We stayed for three nights in mid-October 2005 and wish it could have been at least a week. This should be a destination in and of itself. Ask for a room at the back to get the stunning views from a hill-top perspective over the Tuscan countryside. There is also a beautiful huge garden with the same views plus staff... More

We stayed here for four days in October and were very happy with our choice. The room was large and very comfortable, with a gorgeous view out over the back garden and then out over the countryside. It was cool and wet every morning we were there, so the breakfasts were served inside, but the view was still lovely. Breakfast... More

We reserved a room at this hotel several months in advance, for a stay of nine nights, for our honeymoon. They put us in a room that had a view of the garden and the surrounding countryside as we requested. The first night there was a sound of a generator, added to the uncomfortable beds, and this made for a... More

We just returned from a tour of Tuscany. We spent the first four days in Siena and stayed at Palazzo Ravizza. Our experience was extremely pleasant. The location is ideal, since Piazza del Campo is just few blocks away. The entrance to the hotel is very unpretentious and so is the concierge area. Once inside the building however, everything appears... More
