A great location to explore this picturesque little town. The town square is an easy 10 min walk. The views are magnificent and can be enjoyed out on the terrace or in the garden. There is free onsite parking and the staff are very helpful. The rooms are big enough, with tall ceilings and nice period features. The only negative... More

The hotel and room were beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and the view from the room was spectacular. This hotel was as elegant as they come and they recommended wonderful restaurants for dinner. The bed could have been slightly softer and shower larger but everything else was perfect.

It's not fancy, but it's certainly nice enough, and it's only a few blocks from the historic city center. We had excellent service in every aspect -- the built-in hair dryer didn't work, and they delivered a handheld within 5 minutes of our request. The view from our room was gorgeous, and the included continental breakfast was very good. We... More

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights; we were suppose to be there for 3 nights but were blocked in the middle of the way from Rome to Siena due to heavy snow. We phoned the hotel and they acknowledge our late coming and charged us for two nights only. The information we got in the hotel was excellent,... More

We arrived someone early, coming in from Florence on the bus. It was quite rainy so we were relieved that we could check in early. We had reserved the top loft room for the view and the nostalgia of staying in the loft but we were told that we would be able to be upgraded at no extra charge. I... More

Rarely have I so loved a hotel. It is steeped in romantic atmosphere. So what if there's some dust, faded grandeur, and room quality varies dramatically? The Palazzo Ravizza is incomparable. Where else can you play (as I did) on the splendid Steinway D donated to the pensione by Mrs. Henry Clay Frick? Or savor the same views from the... More

To help give prospective to who I am and what type of review/trip this is, my husband and I went on a 2 week trip to Europe traveling during the last two weeks in Oct 2010. We are 29 year-old working professionals from Atlanta. We like high quality nice things for a good price. We are not overly outdoorsy, but... More

We loved our stay here. Cost was a little rich for our blood, but worth it for a three-night splurge in Siena. My husband plays piano so playing the 9-foot Steinway in the tired old parlor was a trip. Try to get a room with a view; street view is OK, but not as cool as the greenery. . .... More

My husband and I spent two nights of our honeymoon here and absolutely loved our stay. We were in a loft room (#50), the view was fantastic and the room was spacious. We really enjoyed the courtyard behind the hotel, and shared a bottle of wine there each evening of our stay. The location was perfect, just a bit outside... More

We had the junior suite, only room in hotel with a balcony w/ garden and view of Siena. The room was large, had a flat screen TV, the bathroom was just remodel and was very comfortable. The staff, outstanding. We had an early balloon flight trip, and the nightwatchman would not let us leave without a cappuccino, this was 5:30... More
