don't be fooled by the unprepossessing exterior - inside it is gorgeous. Most beautiful room we had in Italy - frescoed ceiling, stunning view over the Tuscan countryside. Our only regret was that it was too cool to enjoy the lovely garden, again with the beatiful view. more

I stayed here for several nights and found it to be the equivalent of the two-star pensiones I stayed in as a college kid, at five times the price. There was mildew all over the shower stall, the drain was filthy, the chipped and scarred bathroom door was blackened by the grimey fingerprints of the ages and closed with gaps,... more

I stayed in the Palazzo Ravizza back in 2006 and it was amazing. I was travelling alone and so I booked the loft room and it could not have been better. I didn't think that a single room could be romantic, but it was. The hotel restaurant was also amazing... if they still serve it try the risotto with rosemary... more

I've stayed at Palazzo Ravizza twice--the first time with my husband on our honeymoon in 2006 and the second just this month with my mother.
