This hotel is fantastic- the rooms are amazing with frescos on the ceiling and the best beds we've ever slept in in a hotel. Lovely helpful staff and the terrace and gardens were amazing- super views and great for evening Pimms and breakfast. We were upgraded from a loft room to a standard room which was great. Its only a... more

We spent four nights at the Palazzo Ravizza, in a large room with high classical ceilings. The staff were universally helpful and friendly. Breakfast could be better, but it's served on the terrace which is a great way to start the day, and the service is very good. It's in a great location for walking into the centre of Siena,... more

I booked this hotel after reading about in Trip Advisor. I turned out to be very pleased. It is perfectly located. One can walk out the fron door to all the sites in the Centro of Siena, and it also has a parking lot and a breathtaking views of the countryside. The rooms are very spacious and charming, but the... more

Delightful family run hotel located on West side of Siena and, for anyone of average fitness, a manageable walk to the main attractions Welcoming, helpful and attentive staff. We stayed in a garden side room with balcony, spectacular views and a clean and well appointed modern shower-room. Charming garden on terrace beneath hotel for watching the sunset and enjoying refreshments.... more

The location of this hotel is excellent - inside the city but apart from the crowd. We spent three nights here at 207 euros a night. and were upgraded to a really lovely room - simple and elegant - and there was a real double bed and not the usual Italian experience of having two single beds strapped together. There... more

I reserved a suite at the Palazzo Ravizza for my husband, my adult daughter and myself for one night. Then we booked a second room for our former exchange student (Giulio)who came up from Rome. Our room was very nice and very clean with a wonderful view of the Tuscan countryside. The staff was pleasant and very helpful. They even... more

We have stayed at The Ravizza twice; first time five years ago and that experience was so good we went back this year. The location is perfect, and in a few minutes you are walking into the center of town. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and retain the charm of the old palace or villa.... more

we stayed here in July 2008, went with 6 friends. The hotel were very helpful before hand, replying to emails and booking 4 rooms. The views from the rooms were stunning if overlooking the countryside. We stayed in the attic room which wasn't big but just what you need we weren't in the room alot. The breakfast is good, coisants,... more

Trip to Palazzo Ravizza was great! When we checked we were informed that we had been upgraded to a superior room. The room was huge and clean. The view out the windows of the country was amazing. You could see for miles. Breakfast was good. We got a table right away each morning and filled-up on cereal, croissants and fruit.... more

We stayed in Siena for only one night, but I can't recommend the city enough. This hotel is a really good option for a reasonably priced room (reasonable for Italy, about $150 USD). Make sure you get a garden view room, the view can't be beat. It looks over the wall around Siena and out into the surrounding hills, it... more
