Palazzo Ravizza sits near the ancient wall that runs around the perimeter of old Siena at one of the highest points in the city. If you are fortunate enough to get a room that faces southwest you'll have one of the most beautiful, unrestricted views in Italy just outside your window. We were there a month ago and the Nov... This is a former private home/palace, and has a fabulous garden in the back with an incredible view of the Tuscany hills. It was fairly close to everything, yet was very quiet. The rooms are a delight with lots of character. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The history on the building, and the family, is rather interesting too.... More

My wife and I just returned from our 20th anniversary trip to Italy. We wanted to return to Siena, as we had so loved it before. We stayed again at Palazzo Ravizza. This time, we were in room 5. This is one one the nicest rooms I have ever stayed in. The ceiling of the first floor of that room... More

Location is perfect, Francesca and Elena couldn't be nicer and more helpful, the room that I stayed in was great, and I just wouldn't look any further... It is a renovated Palazzo with beautifully painted frescos on the ceilings - so you really can feel what it would be like to have lived in Siena back in the day... please... More

I add on to the chorus of good reviews for this hotel. Charming, full of character, clean and well-appointed ! Private car park makes self-drive a breeze. Minutes walk to the sights and restaurants. Highly recommended !

My husband and I loved this romantic hotel - our room had an incredible view of Tuscany and the garden below. The garden itself is on a bluff, so you can sit at a table and look out over the hills at sunset. Our room was large and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was included, with plentiful, delicious offerings. The hotel has... More

This beautiful hotel was perfect for celebrating our 25th anniversary. The views from our window over the Tuscan countryside were breathtaking. Just standing in the window, we could view all around. The rooms are clean and bright, with updated modern bathrooms. The detailing on the ceiling of our room was beautiful, and indicative of the little details that make this... More

My husband and I fell in love with this hotel the minute we walked through the doors and were enticed out into the gorgeous garden overlooking the Tuscan hills. One of the most perfect stays we have ever experienced. Centrally located hotel -surrounded by restaurants and only less than 10 minutes walk to the main square through beautiful cobblestone streets.... More

This is a lovely small hotel which we used as a base to visit the hills town in Tuscany and the seaside towns and state parks. Also it's close to cinque terre ,which was unfortunately flooded out by rains so no hiking. Our room as well as the garden faced west and we had a daily view of sunset over... More
