We stayed in four hotels in Italy and we have a mixed feeling about this hotel. The hotel is in a great neighborhood and it is quiet at night. The room is big and the washroom is good. There is a great garden and you can enjoy the garden and the view of the city is just great as you... More

I selected this hotel based on reviews from TA and also Karen Brown's Italy series. We were not disappointed. We were driving and we wanted a place with secure parking. The hotel's website gives you good directions if you are driving, but I'll put some in here: 1. Take the motorway to Siena and the Siena Ovest exit; 2. Make... More

We were only staying in Siena one night, but after that one night could have stayed forever. Staff is anxious to please and offers exceptional service in doing so. The property is amazing, with its own parking lot and gorgeous garden where we enjoyed amazing views while sipping wine available for purchase in the lobby. The room is superbly comfortable... More

We chose Palazzo Ravizza on the internet because of its great location and reasonable prices. We were pleasantly surprised by the reality. First, the lady at the front desk was helpful with our reservation for four rooms and organized a van ride to Florence through the local taxi company. The small reception area had a little wine bar with samples... More

I researched this hotel and noted that they had several categories of rooms, one of which was "Loft" described correctly as having no elevator access and on the top floor (attic rooms). Two in our party could not manage a flight of stairs easily so I specifically avoided booking this category. Once there, we were booked into a standard room... More

We just got back from a 3 week tour of Italy. Overall the best hotel in the country was Palazzo Ravizza. The location, the room, the bathroom, the garden, the hotel staff were wonderful. I loved Siena and this hotel was in the best location. The front desk went above and beyond, booked us a fantastic wine tour, recommended great... More

Having stayed here twice before in previous years, we expected anothe magical and excellent experience. Boy, were we disappointed. While Siena remains a magically lovely city, this hotel has morphed into a place far less pleasant than I would like to experience. While the building remains the same, the personnel have deteriorated in terms of their level of service tothe... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel last week and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is in a great location - just steps away from Siena's sites, restaurants and shops. It also has its own gated parking lot which is behind the hotel. This was especially helpful for us as we rented a car and took day trips... More

This is an awesome hotel in a great location within Sienna. They have private parking within the ZTL zone which is a huge plus! The view from our room over the Tuscan countryside was amazing. The fact that it is within the city walls makes it easy to walk to any location in town.

The palazzo Ravizzi was a wonderful choice. It is close to everything and Siena is a small town. They have gated parking which is a wonderful bonus. A great breakfast with fruit bread cereal yogurt etc. You serve yourself so there is as much or as little as you choose. The breakfast goes till 10 or 10:30 so you do... More
