Nice place where ti spend a couple of night. Pros: Clean and large rooms, a few minutes from the city center but still out of the pedestrian precinct, so that you can park your car. Drawbacks: the staff was not very friendly. However I recommend the hotel for business and pleasure staying both.

I booked this through the internet. It is somewhat close to the train station and 10-15 minute walk to the center of it all. Siena is gorgeous and this hotel was a lovely stay. My room overlooked the town, and was super comfortable. It even had a balcony to sit out on. Everything was seen to , and the breakfast... More

We had a room with a balcony. Despite the fact that the temperature outside was just a little above freezing we spend some time on the balcony since the view, both by day and at night, was superb. The room was comfortable and the breakfast good. Just a five-minute walk up a gentle hill and you're in the centre of... More

The hotel does have an amazing view and is well located. It's clean and the front desk staff is helpful but our two rooms were very shabby. The bathrooms were updated but the cold, chipped terrazzo flooring and the bare, scuffed concrete walls really felt like a jail cell. It was the worst hotel of our 2 1/2 week Italy... More

Dear Jobee, many thanks for your commentary and your suggestions. During spring and summer the balcony has flower and plants, but during the winter it is a bit difficult to have flowers in the balcony. In any case if you will come back during spring season, you will find many flowers in our balconies. Kind regards form Hotel Minerva More

We stayed at Hotel Minerva on a whim and couldn't be happier about the experience. When we arrived the staff was very friendly. The front desk clerk was very happy to recommend a great restaurant just a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The rooms a very quaint and have lots of character. In fact, due to our after dark... More

I stayed in room 208: beautiful balcony and beautiful view just like the one that you can see in the Tripadvisor pictures. It was clean but the bathroom window did not work so I had to keep the shutters closed. I only stayed for a night so I did not even mention it to the concierge (I would expect they... More

Dear guest, many thanks for your commentary. I'm happy to read that you were satisfied with your stay at Minerva's . Just some clarification to your observations: the heather is centralized, so it's not possible to comand it form the room and during the night it's at minimum, that why in the wardrobe, you always find some blanketts. Easy/Easy. Somehow is noisy at night. Need some extras wines. Breakfast is good. Continental breakfast. No eggs any stlye. Hello we do not eat... More

Good hotel for that price and so near center (700 m to piaza Palio). It is so good that parking is under the hotel. Acros the street is a very good restaurant L'oro di Siena. The stuff in hotel is friendly, inetrnet is working in the room.

We enjoyed our room with terrace and found the price to be reasonable. The staff was not overly friendly nor ver helpful. The location meant we had to walk a great deal and public transportation is very limited. Since my husband has difficulty walking this hotel was not suitable for us. We will not stay here in the future.

Dear guest, I'm sorry for the difficulty you had in walking through Siena. But you have to understand that the city is closed to traffic and you have to walk or go by taxi. That's why there are no public buses which drive to the city centre. Kind regards from Hotel Minerva. More

We have stayed here before and particularly like its location a 10/15 minute walk into the historical city and yet with easy access to the surrounding countryside, it also has the benefit of onsite parking. The public areas of the hotel are well cared for and pleasant, however we found our room although clean rather basic and 'run down' compared... More
