I booked Jet 2 flights from Leeds-Bradford to Pisa myself and the Garden Hotel was recommended by Quartz Travel a local independent travel agency (who were very knowledgeable about Italy) for three nights, as a wedding anniversary surprise for my wife; our daughter & her boyfriend were also travelling with us. Later, and as an additional surprise, I arranged for... more

This is definitely NOT a 4* hotel. Rooms need completely redecorating and updating. Bar area too small for the amount of people in the hotel. Swimming pool was closed, because they don't fill it up till May - we were not made aware of this on booking. No entertainment during the evenings, again, we were not made aware of this.... more

Stayed here with my husband for a short break. To be honest, very disappointed. This is not a 4 star hotel, despite the fact that we were charged four star prices. We were put in an extension of the hotel, not the main building, our double bed was 2 twin beds shoved together and one of us usually ended up... more

The Hotel Jolly in town referred us hear as we were in a tough position to find New Year's lodging. The staff was extremely accommodating and showed us several rooms before we booked. The grounds are nice (even in the winter) and would likely be beautiful once the flowers bloom. From their back terrace you'll get a solid view of... more

Grounds are beautiful, as is the view from the main building. But our room, in an annex, had old and somewhat torn furniture, was musty, and had no view other than a wall. Staff at the restaurant were rude; they promised early in the day that they would be serving dinner in the lovely outside porch that evening. We made... more

This hotel was outstanding---although the rooms were small (typical of European hotels), they were very clean and very adequate. The hotel staff were extremely courteous, helpful, polite and most all spoke good English. The hotel grounds are beautiful---huge garden area that surrounds the hotel and it is perched on a hill. You open your hotel windows to a beautifuly sight---hills... more

Stayed at Hotel Garden with my wife and two small children in Sept 07 for one night. The hotel grounds are great, and the views of Siena and countryside are wonderful! The room we were given was in some type of annex, and left a lot to be desired. There was no view, and the room was not particularly clean.... more

We stayed here mid-way through our honeymoon, about a week ago. The location of the hotel is great, with beautiful views overlooking Siena. A lovely terrace and pool area too. The gardens around the hotel are pretty and we enjoyed being on the outskirts of the city. It's about a 25 minute walk to the centre - a nice walk,... more

Just returned from the Garden Hotel, where our family stayed for a week. Eventhough a bit worn, the hotel was good value in most aspects. Best part of the hotel was good service, especially Francesca at the reception was really lovely. The pool at the hotel garden was great after long day trips around Tuscany. Eventhough little dark, our room... more

The staff weren't so friendly when we arrived. No 'hello' or 'welcome; from anyone! The room we were given was absolutely nothing like any photo I'd seen before we arrived. It was dark, old, run down, with a view of a wall. The shower was like climbing into a box and the shower curtain had seen better days! The first... more
