Great location for this family run hotel. Have stayed here for the last two summers and am heading back this year! Quick bus ride from the bus stop out front to historic centre. The food and service are like staying in the home of an italian relative! Nicoletta and Alessandro are very helpful!!!

The worst hotel ever!! Don't go there! I spent 2 nights there because in booking.com they give it 7 points but it's not true! My first day I returned from the historic centre tired and hungry, the problems were: no air conditioning working in the room, the restaurant was closed the whole weekend and the hotel it's in the middle... More

Cosy little hotel close to the station and siena city centre. I only stay one week for work and i really appreciate the cousine (Try the Tuscany ragu'). Not really modern furniture, and small room ( at least single room). It represents the perfect stay for who s looking for a quite, familiar and nice place.

I stayed at Vico Alto with a school group of 90 or so students, and I had to say, it was a great experience. It wasn't as up to date as other hotels I've stayed at before, but it was clean, and the hotel staff was great. It wasn't in the city centre, but it only took a short bus... More

Having used Tripadvisor for years for information, what compelled me to sign up was to warn travellers off this terrible hotel. We stayed at the Alto on a busy night in Siena when all the central town hotels were full.
