The hotel is not near from downtown. Although in the web site it is mentioned that the distance is around 2,5 km, it took me around 6,5 km to reach there. Accomodations are good. Breakfast is fair. As a guarantee for late check-in, normal procedure at Accor web site, I provided information about my credit card - not a permission... More

Enchanting hotel surrounded by olive trees. Rooms were spacious and very clean, breakfast was a bit basic but still tasty and fresh, nice location and friendly staff. A bit of concern when using the shower but overall a very nice experience to end our European trip.

The room was not clean, there was a bad smell in the bathroom. There was not room service since it was weekend (at least this was their justification). Transportation to main touristic attractions is an issue.

Cosmos tours had booked my stay at the hotel. Since the tour bus took us there I can not comment on it's location or on transport to the hotel. I found it clean and spacious and wished some of the other hotels on the itinerary had been the same. I only had breakfast there and found it to be adequate.... More

Hotel was clean, in a good location with efficient and friendly service. The restaurant was good, with excellent service and an adequate selection of dishes to choose from. The grounds were pleasant and the olive trees were appreciated.

No information on Hotel... place etc... Restaurant was pathetic. I've been asked to wait... nearly half hour to be seated. Only two people working... had to ask... More

Located a couple of miles out of the old city walls in hilly terrain, a cab (€12 each way) is needed to visit Siena's sights and restaurants. Booking a Mercure hotel is a safe but uninspiring choice - we booked it since it had free on-site car parking. The rooms were large, and good value, if lacking any hint of... More

Mercure hotels are generally known as good quality three-star establishments, places where you always know you'll get a clean and comfortable room. The Mercure Siena meets that criteria, and goes a bit beyond. The room was just what we expected: simple clean and quiet, with a bathroom including a full range of amenities and plenty of towels. The staff was... More
