This hotel is well located for those who are visiting Tuscany and wineyards around Siena, Montalcino, Montepulciano, Chianti. Is not possible to walk to the old city, however, is in a good position to take the road. The hotel is quiet, with good rooms. Probably was tailored to receive bus excursions following the wineries. The restaurant has few options in... More

my family found this hotel on the internet.we then used GPS to navigate there.we finally turned in to a tiny estate with few to little lampposts.we then saw a sign saying:hotel mercure with an arrow.we followed the sign to a tiny,1-lane road with cars parked on both sides.we kept moving till the GPS said:"you have reached your destination.your destination is... I was travelling with a school group on our travels through Italy, and being a student trip accommodation was generally quite basic. I was therefore very pleasantly surprised and very much enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It is outside the central Siena area so generally a car is required to get around or in my case, a tour bus.... The hotel is located in far from city historical center if you plan to go on foot , however it is less than 10 minutes by car. The facility is in very good condition. Food is not good as other places we have been in Italy & Siena. The worst thing about this hotel is the staff, with very few... More

On a quick trip through this region, and this was the hotel we stayed at for one night.....and it was way better than the one we stayed at the previous night. Huge room and nice feel about the place, with many old olive trees adorning the gardens. Breakfast was reasonably good as well Can recommend this place

The room was both beautiful and pristine. We even had a bath. However..........Breakfast was a whole new experience. For all the coaches that go through you would think they would be organized. There were not enough tables to accommodate paying customers. The male staff were rude and despite being told there were no coffee cups didn't seem to care. I... More

I spent only one night there and found it quite messy. The room was very far away from the elevator on the first floor and generally clean but with a large stain on the carpet. Breakfast was below average for quality (I could not finish the coffee) and when I was there a large group came in and made it... More

Had a one night stop over in Siena and booked this at the last minute. It was great value for money with a well appointed room and generous breakfast included in the tariff. 10 euro taxi ride to Piazza del Campo where we enjoyed an amazing evening of food and entertainment.

If you plan to visit Siena and coming by car this is perfect place to stay at. They offer free parking and it takes about 5 minutes to Siena central parking lot, very easy to reach. Peaceful neighbourhood, clean spacious rooms with comfortable beds, decent tasteful breakfast and very kind and polite staff. Every recommendation.
