We recently stayed at this hotel, which was referred to us by a friend. They have an excellent website and we were able to secure a room at a very reasonable price. Our room was on the 2nd floor, as there are no elevators, be sure to specify if you want a room on the main floor to avoid the... More

Stayed here for three nights in August. We had a huge room, I don't know if all the rooms are that big, but we didn't have a suite or deluxe room, so we were impressed by this. Clean and well airconditioned, and the location is hard to beat. Close to the bus station, and the historic centre. Breakfast was included,... More

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Chiusarelli for 2 nights while in Siena. The location was perfect for exploring the city, though Siena is not the easiest city to navigate when driving. Driving in Siena is not for the poor navigators, like myself. The room, well entire hotel really, smelled of baby powder and was cheaply decorated in my... More

Stayed for two nights this week. A wonderful experience: hotel is convenient for both the bus station and also for walking to Piazza del Campo. Breakfast was included in the price and a good variety of food/beverages was on offer. Our room was warm, quiet and comfortable with a good-sized bathroom offering generous supplies of toiletries. Check in/out was quick... More

Stayed for three nights at this hotel, extending a day from my original booking. Clean, comfortable room, with a lovely view of San Domenico and the Duomo in the distance over the valley. Excellent location, within walking distance of Piazza del Campo, which is simply amazing. Good restaurant too, with 10% discount for guests of the hotel. Friendly and efficient... More

We stayed for four nights in this hotel. The hotel is in a great location, just few minutes from Piazza del Campo. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, but the furnitures were old. The breakfast was poor. There is free wifi, but it isn't so good. There is parking for the clients without any charge.

We stayed at the lovely Hotel Chiusarelli from Sept. 16-20, 2014. It's an elegant looking hotel but not expensive. Our room was beautiful, comfortable, large, had lots of windows & terrace doors, surrounded by a lovely, spacious terrace on 2 sides with lots of colorful window boxes. Beautiful! Even before we arrived, the hotel staff were so helpful by suggesting we... More

3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2014

Stayed here for 3 nights in October in Room 31. I would avoid this room at all costs. Even a heavy sleeper would have trouble with the noise heard in this room. Partying and loud music in the nearby square was heard until midnight on two of those nights and until 1:45 AM on the third night. Church bells rang... More

We stayed here as the start of our cycle tour of Tuscany, with Iron donkey tours. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The rooms were clean, of decent size and we could use the garage for our bike storage and set up etc which was great. The location is very close to the old town and makes a very... More

I stayed at the Chiusarelli once about 18 years ago and hoped this stay would be as good as the last one. It was! The room was great for the price and we enjoyed the balcony overlooking the soccer field. The hotel has about 5 parking spaces and we, luckily, got there early enough to get one of them. Parking...
