As you look through the reviews you will see that location is the best thing about this hotel, but I would like to put in a word for the staff. For me it is the people who make the difference in a trip and although this is not a family owned and operated, and all that goes with that, the... More

Location is great. Hotel is rather far from railway station, but there is bus stop just in front of it, so that is not a big problem. And interurban bus station is very close to hotel too, it takes a couple minutes to get there, so if you’re planning to visit Rome or Florence before/after Siena this location is perfect.... More

We chose Chiusarelli hotel because of its close proximity of old town and good value. The hotel staffs are very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast choices are excellent. A close by supermarket, Conrad, is only about 5 mins walk away. Bus station is also only a few minutes walk away. If we're going to visit Siena again, we will return... More

Stayed here with my wife for 2 days on the way from Rome to Florence. We used the place as the base to explore the nearby hilltowns of San Gimignano and Volterra. The hotel has only 6 parking spots, but the free parking next to the fortress was a 5 minute walk. Drop your bags off, park and you can... More

I stayed with my wife for a week in Hotel Chiusarelli and the hotel is quite ok. The rooms have good space and the staff is friendly and helpful, nevertheless the English level being limited. The breakfast is fair, and the constantly baked croissants (that Italians call "brioche", I do not know why...) spread their good smell all over the... More

I stayed here for a little less than one month and had a really great experience. I was working on my academic research and found the staff to be helpful and friendly. The room I had was the perfect size for me and had a mini-fridge and tv. The bathroom was also nice with a full tub. The breakfast was... More

We stayed at Hotel Chiusarelli for two nights just before Christmas. The value was excellent and the room was clean. The staff was extremely helpful and the breakfast was good. Our room overlooked the soccer stadium at the back and we had the added bonus of observing a soccer match between Sorrento and the rival city of Florence. More

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Chiusarelli for two nights in early December 2011. It's a simple hotel with comfortable rooms and very good service. Our window looked out onto the carpark, so we didn't have the nicest room in the hotel. But the room was clean, the location was great, and it had everything that we needed. Food... More

This was a good place to stay. My room was clean and comfortable. The location was great - really easy to explore Siena. It was a fairly basic hotel, but I enjoyed my stay there. Helpful staff and the breakfast was good. More
