The Chiusarelli is in a good location, near San Domenico, the Fortrezza di Santa Barbara, and a few minutes walk to The Campo. It is just around the corner from the bus station and very convenient for travel to other villages in Tuscany, such as San Gimignano. the hotel lobby is pleasant and the staff helpful. I had one of... more

We selected this hotel after reading trip advisor, and because it was close to the bus terminal. Our room was quite nice, with a balcony overlooking the playing field. Breakfast very good and served in a lovely area. Staff professional. The restaurant was not operating on the two nights we were there, which was a pity as we would have... more

We arrived into Siena without a reservation and literally stumbled upon the hotel. We didn't want to spend too much on the hotel and the hotel had a small room available for 90 Euros so we took it. The hotel is located about a 5-10 minute walk to the Campo inside the city walls. If you are driving into Siena,... more

This hotel had everything that you could possible want - great sercice, rooms and a wonderful restaurant. The staff were more than accommodating and my friend and I both had rooms with a balcony. The rooms were beautifully appointed and beds super comfortable. This hotel has a charm that makes Siena an extra special visit! more

We arrived from in Siena after three weeks in Rome and the south, during which we stayed in 11 different hotels, expecting to spend 7 nights in the Hotel Chiusarelli, into which our agent had booked it. It was, however, by far the worst hotel we encountered in Italy (including a very marginal place in Brindisi), in fact the worst... more

I went with a group of college students and stayed at this hotel for a weekend excursion that we took. The hotel not only gave us an excellent group rate, but thestaff was very pleasant with us from the moment we arrived to the time we left. The rooms were suprisingly spacious (I was in a single room).I was very tired... more

I arrived in Siena by train, therefore, I took a bus to Piazza Gramsci from the station, and walked to Viale Curtatone, which was not at all far and the hotel was very easy to find. On my arrival the receptionist seemed puzzled and when I asked what the problem was, he stated that although my name was on their... more

Stayed here for two nights on our 17 day Rick Steves's tour of Italy. Our room was clean and comfortable with a view out toward the stadium. The public spaces of the hotel, including a small outdoor area where we had our evening vino, the lobby, and the breakfast room were all lovely. Breakfast here was quite good. It is... more

We stayed in Siena after six days in the Cinque Terre and two in Rome. Hotel Chiusarelli was just what we needed. You never think that you need to plan in a "rest day" when planning your trip but after a week of running around every second we definitely needed one. We checked into the hotel and they carried our... more

Stayed at this hotel in June 2008 on an Italy trip with my son. For the two of us, this hotel was adequate. If I go back with my wife, I would stay elsewhere. On the positive side, the price was good. The staff was friendly and gave us a good dinner recommendation. Even though the weather was very hot,... more
