Peace and quiet atmosphere just 1,5 km from Roman gate of Siena. Place of only 6 rooms with enough space to park a car and pleasant terrace to enjoy a bottle of wine after exhausting ups and downs through Siena. Comfortable rooms and great breakfast including cold cuts and cheese which is not very common in Italy. Home prepared apple... More

Endorse all the positive reviews. We stayed 4 nights and it was a great choice. Quiet location yet convenient for all requirements. Fabio welcoming, most helpful, excellent host. All immaculate, rooms clean and excellent, variety of breakfast, pleasant out doors area. Hard to find first time but Fabio gives good instructions for GPS before arrival. Close to Pizzaria Il Tocco.... More

We spent 2 nights at La Verbena. It was lovely. It is about 2 km ( straight line - you can see it! ) from Siena or 6 km by road. We took the bus there from the train station ( actually two levels down in the shopping centre opposite the station) and would recommend you email Fabio the owner... More

The location is a little difficult to find - get the GPS co-ordinates before you go and you'll get there easily. Once there you will meet Favio. A great host and a source of information for your visit to Siena and the surrounding hill towns. Greeting you in your room will be a bottle of his family's wine (a nice... More

I can only agree with all of the other glowing reviews of Favio and his wonderful B&B. He was the perfect host with advice and suggestions to answer all of our questions and we also loved the home made cakes available each morning as part of a good breakfast. Save driving into Siena by taking the local bus a very... More

We found this place on Booking.com, glad we did. The host is great, he even made an appointment for my wife at a local physiotherapist. She needed it as 3 weeks before she had surgery for a dislocated shoulder and fractured arm. We stayed 4 nights, had a good time in Siena, went to the Amalfi Coast and then came... More

Loved staying here. We stayed three nights here recently and were very impressed. Fabio was a gracious host and gave us good ideas of things to do in the area and where to park for free outside the city gates (we needed to pick up friends at the train station). It was a very quiet and peaceful setting just outside... More

We wanted to visit sienna for a day on our roadtrip and were looking for something affordable but clean for this purpose. What we received with this B&B was more than expected. First of all much respect for the owners, Fabio in particular. Very friendly, very warm and accommodating and willing to do all to make our stay as good... More

Stayed here for 2 nights in May/2014, with my wife, my daughter-22 yrs and my son-15yrs, in two rooms. Wonderful experience. Fabio is great and I had very good conversation with his father-in-law. Very clean and comfortable rooms, excellent location. Will stay back here in the future, if we return to Sienna. Grazie e ciao Fabio. Dio ti benedica!

Stayed here 3 nights. Room looked over lovely green fields. On arriving at our room we were pleasantly surprised to find that the owner had provided us with a bottle of local red wine. Breakfast included yummy home made cakes. Bathroom quite small but functional - tiny shower recess. Only a short walk to the bus stop (take Bus 51... More
