My wife and I stayed at this hotel for two nights. The room was very clean and I thought the bed was comfortable. My only complaint is that none of the rooms in the hotel have actual double beds. We are a mother-daughter (ages 62 & 32) duo doing Italy over 2 weeks in October 2009. I can see how finding the hotel is a bit of a challenge. The best advice is as written in Rick Steve's book - find San Domenico, go down the hill to the left, and then turn right down down a brick walk.... more

OK. So the rooms were pretty basic. But the price was good, the location was good and the view from our room, from our own balcony, was fantastic (be sure to ask for a room with a view). I was very happy with this hotel. People who don't stay at least one night in Siena are really missing out. more
