My husband and I spent 2 nights here prior to our wedding in Siena. We have stopped here before and really enjoyed it. We aren’t people to visit the same place twice, nevermind stay in the same hotel, but we could come back to Podere La Strega in a heartbeat. It’s close to Siena centre (not walking distance) with INCREDIBLE... More

Charming, excellently maintained villa with beautiful surroundings. Ideal if you want to relax. A short drive away to Siena so you will need a car. The owner is hospitalble without over crowding you. I would recommend this place to those looking to stay in Siena. Only downside is that there is no where close to get drinks or snacks!

A beautiful B&B with a lovely, gracious hostess. Close to Siena but the feeling of being right out in the country. We enjoyed meeting other guests around the communal breakfast table and discussing the day's plans. Wonderful breakfast with a view to arrive early for.

The hotel is in a charming hill overlooking Siena so doubtless it would be a great choice for a summer stay, however we were there during constant rain so could not really enjoy the views. Also the owner was very friendly and cooked us a wonderful breakfast served at a large communal table, all'italiana. The rooms are also reasonably large,... More

Great location- close to Siena, but far enough away to feel like you're in the countryside. We came without a car and the local bus stop was only a 10 minute walk away. The view from the dining room was beautiful and the grounds are well kept. Our room and the main common room are wonderfully decorated and felt very... More

We arrived early to Letizia's beautiful house and warmly welcomed. We were shown our room just as the maid was finishing. Everything was spotless and we were shown around the house. The dining room has a large table for breakfast overlooking Siena. Stunning and great to meet other guests in the morning and to chat. It was warm, cosy and had... More

Had a great stay here with boyfriend. Very romantic. Amazing breakfast. Amazing view from hotel. Lovely room. Just make sure you let owner know when you are arriving! Or else you might be stuck outside the gate and not have intl roaming to be able to call them,ha! Rental car a must. Had a wonderful stay! Lovely management.

Perfect B&B if you want to enjoy the Tuscan countryside, be close to cities (Siena in particular of course) yet be able to escape from the busy crowds. Perfect setting, really nice garden where an abundant breakfast is served in summer, and an infinity swimming pool with a view on nearby Siena! The house itself is nicely decorated, we had... More

Admittedly this place is a little hard to find (we didn't know if we were at the right place on arrival due to the coded electronic gates and very small sign) and it is a good drive into town (hire a car!) but the stunning views; beautiful, comfortable and clean rooms; attentive hosts; delicious breakfast and peaceful surroundings more than... If you are going to Siena, stay here! The farmhouse is lovely, the room was spotless with bags of character. The pool overlooking Siena is breathtaking. Breakfast is outside with homemade cake and fresh pastries. The owner is very welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. It is out of the centre so a car is best but apparently there is... More
