Great place to stay. Really huge and clean. It is about 3km from city centre and 1.5km from train station which can be walked or covered by bus. I stayed here 3 nights and completely loved it. Siena is scenically so beautiful and the hostel gives you a window to the countryside as well! Strongly recommend it!!

I was there for one night during mid-October. Everything is nice but three points bothered me. The first is that there is no place to bring your personal hygiene items. The second point is there is no plug next to each bed. You have to change the mobile phone/tablet somewhere near the wash basin. The last point is the location... More

Ew stay away! This hostel appeared clean and convenient but stay away. I was in room 210 last night and have bed bug bites everywhere! Spent half the night sleeping on a communal couch just to get out of my room. I've never been so disgusted and itchy at the same time.

Dear Chang, during the summer season in Italy we are full of bugs. During the days of your stay we were invaded of them! We are very sorry and we already found a solution, using a special spray while cleaning. We just would say to you that it can happen in a Hostel, especially during the whorm months. All the... More

A little up the hill from the train station. The hostel can easily be reached by bus, if you mind walking. The staff is very nice. Wifi is free but does not work in the rooms as of now. They say this will be fixed, however. Breakfast is included, it is handed out, not a buffet, but it's ok. They... More

I stayed one night in this hostel, the room was very clean, the bathroom was ok. The people at the reception are very friendly but it is a realy big hostel, not very intimate. The biggest problem is that it is veeery far from the old city (40 mins walking), you will have to take the bus.

We had three nights at the Siena hostel just after I had my wallet stolen. I was very stressed about the money and credit cards I had lost and had a lot of phone calls I needed to make. The staff were amazing in helping me, allowing their phone for hour after hour of international calls. All the little things... More

It totaly exceeded my expectation. The room (twin room) was clean and seemed to be newly refurbished. Its a little bit off the Siena's historical city center but still in walking distance (you can also hop on city bus.. stop is just a few meters) Staff was super friendly and always ready to help. You can enjoy Italian brekafast served... More

My family stayed for three nights and we loved everything about it. The rooms are clean and updated plus we had adjoining rooms so it made it convenient. The breakfast was fresh Italian continental style, hot croissants and coffee, we ate outside on the cute terrace. The staff is top notch, Marco, Francesca, Federico, Vittoria, Cristian, Piero, Faust, and Fiore... More

This place is a great base to explore tuscany from. Staff is extremely friendly and chatty, breakfast with fresh pastrieas every morning, lovely terrace, simple bit clean and modern rooms. Also loved that they offered beds in twinrooms in addition to the usual dorms which makes it a really good alternative to hostels. This place has awakened my love for... More

My fiancé and I are backpacking through Europe for 12 months on a tight budget. Our review below is an indication of the experience we had at the Siena Hostel. We stayed in a twin room with shared bathrooms. Pros - Cheap prices. We had a twin room all to ourselves for €41.40. Usually, you would pay a lot more... More
