I stayed in the Borgo at Bel Sorriso. Well, what a location! And what a drive down! Does anyone count how many breaths they take whilst driving along the approach to this magnificent beacon of Tuscan isolation? "Bel Sorriso" certainly takes the breath away on arrival. Montefienali is a lovely seclude village in the mountains of Tuscany. The original village dates back to the 13th century, but it was abandoned for sixty years before being restored, beginning in 2001.
