We really liked the B & B Camollia. It was very well run, friendly, very clean and well located, just by the old porta at the top of the city. The staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was nice and it was a short walk from the main attractions. They recommended a great restaurant in the old Piazza Mercato, ask... more

The rooms are small, but clean. The breakfast was more than adequate, and the service is mostly friendly any helpful. Location is great for exploring the historic center of Siena. Advertised w A/C, but the A/C automatically goes off when the outside temp hits a certain level, even if inside it is still warm-and opening the windows is quite noisy... more

We stayed at Bed and Breakfast Comollia for 3 nights at the end of May and gladly recommend it to other travellers visiting Siena. It's fairly well located right outside the the city walls and it's an easy walk to Il Campo, around 15 minutes. We found the place with some difficulty after receiving bizarre and time consuming instructions from... more

After the bad experiences in accommodation in Rome and Orvieto, we'd finally enjoyed the accommodation in Italy. The B&B was chic, clean and tidy. The staff was friendly and helpful in explaining the details, showing directions on the map, and sociable during breakfast. The breakfast was continental and average. The location was near one of the gate of the old... more

This place is more like a hotel than a B&B, but it is really delightful. It is located just outside Porta Camollia, which is a short walk into the city centre. The rooms are spacious, clean, new and comfortable. Breakfast is very nice, and the staff very hospitiable. Would certianly have no hesitation in recommending this place to others. more

Before we took off for our trip through Tuscany we reserved some hotels and this B&B. A cumbersome exchange of e-mails with B&B Camollia followed. They really wanted to know the exact time we arrived; even "sometime in the afternoon" was not good enough! Still, we enjoyed our stay in this B&B. It is modern, well-appointed, clean, the breakfast is... more

The three brother that run the B&B were good. They gave us the maps we needed and booked our tours (just make sure they book you for the correct date). There was plenty to choose form for breakfast. The rooms were clean and modern. The only problem was that we were reprimanded by the cleaning staff for staying out late... more

We stayed here for 3 nights in May and were happy with the accommodation. Our room (a triple) faced the street and was quite noisy because we had to leave the window open - the air conditioning is turned off at 10.30 pm and comes back on in tne morning. The room was very clean and the bathroom was quite... more

A little hard to find, it is tucked into a residential block with not much in the way of signage. Very new, the rooms are stylish and the bathrooms spotless and huge. Staff also very friendly and the breakfast quite substantial. Chose it for it's location which is about 15 min walk from the city centre. The old city wall... more
