With my wife and my daughter (2 years old) we spent 8 nights at Vecchio Maneggio. Tiziana welcomed us warmly, as if we were part of her family. Throughout our stay, we could feel that Tiziana is running this Agriturismo with great enthusiasm! The rooms are comfortable, very clean and very simple (as expected, being in an real Agriturismo!). What... more

This was our first experience of an agriturismo and we certainly chose a good one. Tuscany is beautiful and Il Vecchio Maneggio is perfectly located between Florence and Sienna and with glorious views up to San Gimignano, about 7 minutes drive away. Having read the reviews we decided to dine at the agriturismo with most other guests and this was... more

We thought nothing could be better than the drive we were taking through the beautiful Tuscan country side. Then we arrived at Il Vecchio Maneggio. The moment we arrived they had us relaxiing with a bottle of wine for the two of us and an orange juice for our daughter with a breathtaking view of San Gimingnano. Tiziana is everything... more

Freindly, warm accomodation with the opportunity to meet local people as well as people from all over the world. The dinner was so delicious and fun! Close to Florence and easy to drive to many historic towns & vineyards. Relaxed, casual atmosphere. A taste of real Tuscan culture. Our room was quite small but it was comfortable and very clean. more

Fantastic location in Tuscany with wonderful views. Food was magnificent and plentiful. The wine is all produced on the farm as is the olive oil and various honeys. Our children were welcomed with open arms and they loved seeing the animals on the farm. Our 3 year old even rode one of the horses. San Gimigano is 5 mins away... more

We had a wonderful experience in this place. It has a great location: only few kilometers from S.Gimignano, next to Volterra, Florence, Siena and more. Great food and friendly owners; you feel at home! It's very nice to have breakfast and dinner with the other residents. The heating works very well, our room was very warm and comfortable. It is... more

After staying at another place in Tuscany that did not offer friendliness or good food/wine, we were skeptical about moving on to this place. However, I think this place surpassed our expectations for a true Tuscan experience. The main lady, Tiziana, is a friendly, wonderful person who, by the way, gave us our best meal in Tuscany by far--even better... more

Read the reviews carefully - they're all accurate. The rooms are fairly basic; we were very cold in October; Tiziana is loud, but fun, spirited, very Italian, and the only one around who speaks any English, and hers isn't great; yes, there is a lot of smoking, and no internet access. But you do interact, however much you want to,... more

We were new to the aguriturismo scene, and didn't really know what to expect when we visited. We would go back to Il Vecchio Maneggio again in a heartbeat! The room we stayed in was basic, and without airconditioning might make returning in the heat of summer a bit difficult, but there was a fan, and sleeping with the windows... more

The people are friendly, the scenery is amazing, the wine and food are wonderful. It's a great place to unwind for a few days. The only downside was that our room didn't have airconditioning and it got a bit stuffy at night. more
