Freindly, warm accomodation with the opportunity to meet local people as well as people from all over the world. The dinner was so delicious and fun! Close to Florence and easy to drive to many historic towns & vineyards. Relaxed, casual atmosphere. A taste of real Tuscan culture. Fantastic location in Tuscany with wonderful views. Food was magnificent and plentiful. The wine is all produced on the farm as is the olive oil and various honeys. We were new to the aguriturismo scene, and didn't really know what to expect when we visited. We would go back to Il Vecchio Maneggio again in a heartbeat! The room we stayed in was basic, and without airconditioning might make returning in the heat of summer a bit difficult, but there was a fan, and sleeping with the windows... more

The people are friendly, the scenery is amazing, the wine and food are wonderful. It's a great place to unwind for a few days. The only downside was that our room didn't have airconditioning and it got a bit stuffy at night. more
