We travelled around Italy (mostly north) for two weeks and can honestly say that Tiziana and her team were the most welcoming and treated us like part of the family! We stayed for 4 nights and every evening was a wonderful and different experience! Meals are taken at the communal dining table, where you meet people from all over the... More

We stayed with Tiziana and her family for one night. The B&B is a way out of town, not having a car he had to get a taxi at a cost of 20euro each way. Had we known it, the bus from Siena/Pogibonsi stop right outside the drive so we could've saved ourselves some money. The room was large and... More

It's been now become a recurrent trip, at least once a year we like to go and stay minimum 1-2 nights at Tiziana's where we know that great atmosphere and excellent food is guaranteed! Tiziana and her husband, and the rest of the staff, are simply gorgeous, it's like being at home. The location is fantastic, just on the top... More

First of all, we didn't stay at this property overnight so I can't address that issue. We booked a best of Tuscany tour out of Florence (already reviewed the tour group) and Agriturismo was where we stopped for lunch and a tour of the winery. Yes, we were only there a few short hours (unfortunately!) but we found the hosts... More

This Agriturismo has something unique -- its shared dining experience with creates a family atmosphere and a blending of cultures and experiences. While we found the language differences somewhat challenging, we enjoyed meeting our fellow travelers. The dinner was wonderful -- a full five course (or was it seven?) meal. The homemade honeys are a wonderful complement to the cheese... More

In beautiful Tuscany, a short drive to San Gimignano. This working farm, offers a bed, breakfast ... and dinner. Of course the beauty of including dinner, is the safety and convenience of simply walking across the hall, or up the stairs following that extra glass or two of wine with dinner. A 5 course dinner is served family style at... More

We just came back from El Vecchio Maneggio and loved everything about it. The convenient location, beautiful scenery, AMAZING home cooked endless dinners and the warm and familial feel. The beds could be a bit more comfortable but that's not a reason not to go!

My wife and I recently stayed at Agriturismo Il Vecchio Maneggio following considerable research to find somewhere good to stay. I am at a loss as to why this place gets the reviews it does because I cannot see how it warrants more then 2 to 3 circles at best. Let me explain why. On our first night the owners... More

Our group of 8 from Minnesota came here on a recommendation from a friend. We stayed 7 days and Tiziana and her family treated us like long lost family. the location was a perfect place to take day trips out of and Tiziana was a wealth of information on how to get there, where to park, things to see. The... More

We spent 2 nights on our honeymoon at this A+++ bed and breakfast. We rented a car through Hertz in Florence. Without an international GPS there would have been a 0% chance of finding this place. It was very challenging but we found it and it was so awesome!!!! Mom and Pop style dinners every single night at 8pm. Everyone... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
This charming typical farmhouse, whose name could not be different from "Il Vecchio Maneggio" (the old Horseback Riding Centre), set on top of a hill, enjoys lovely views over the Tuscan countryside. The Pieraccini family, the owners of this organic farm, have always lived here, working the land, rearing horses and keeping bees. The old farmhouse, which has been recently restored retaining the original features of this typical Tuscan country house, today can accommodate guests in the family-run agriturismo "Il Vecchio maneggio," which offers 5 comfortable rooms; the fully equipped kitchen where Tiziana, an experienced and excellent cook, transforms the farm products and other local specialties into delicious meals, served in the large dining room whose patio doors enjoys lovely views of the medieval town of San Gimignano and of the surrounding countryside. Guests are free to discover the activities and the daily life at the farm such as harvesting, picking the olives, extracting honey, feeding horses and other animals of the farm. ... more   less
