Stayed for 3 nights Sept 2014 - have been to SG before and aware how busy it is during the day. We had a fab balcony in our room and found the staff very helpful. Would stay again. The walk up from car park one takes about 10 mins and might be handier parking closer initially if you have a... More

Given that San Gimignano is the most popular and quaint Tuscan city, this guesthouse is definitely the most value-for-money option you will have! Situated inside San Gimignano walls and close to San Giovanni, the main road of the city, Palazzo Torrione has nice, comfortable, clean and well-decorated rooms. The check-in might be a little tricky, as the owner works in... More

We arrived in SG last Nov 12, spending 2 nights in SG. The owner had her son to pick us up at the front gate. We were 3 ladies that had some 6 luggage and we actually expected the son to help us with the heavier one- guess what?- he just took the smallest roller bag and had us lagged... More

was able to get a last-minute reservation, wasn't sure what to expect as I was meeting the owner at their tabacchi shop, they're never my go-to destination LOL. But she was lovely, the room was pretty and warm and welcoming, had everything I needed, great bathroom, lovely dining area. It's really nice to stay within the walls of San Gimignano... More

Outstanding place. Our room was the perfect size, views were unbelievably good. Clean rooms nicely appointed. Proprietors (Francesco and Vanna) were great hosts: very helpful, courteous and accommodating. Bathroom was clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was quaint, fresh and enjoyable. Coffee is quite limited to Europe style choices. Tv and Internet could use significant upgrade. While our room was non smoking,... More

We stayed 2 nights in one of the nicest rooms on our trip. The spotless, well furnished rooms were larger than the typical Italian hotel room. The breakfasts featured fresh bread and pastries from a local bakery. We traveled just befor the high season and negotiated the breakfast into the very reasonable room rate. It was an ideal base to... More

We had a wonderful stay for 4 nights in December in a suite that accommodated our family of four. Our hostess graciously helped us settle in on Christmas Day and pointed us in the direction of a good place for dinner. They were always helpful with directions, destinations, a ride to our car with bags, and restaurant recommendations. The rooms... More

Was really pleased with how good the rooms are and how nice the place is. Is just off the main street but is completely quiet and great. Highly recommended. Eat at the small local restaurant just up the road to the left as you look at the hotel.

We were at this hotel for only one night. The fact this is not a typical hotel is not easy to get the keys and you need to arrive at the latest for 7:00 pm. The room was charming, clean and well decorated. However, the air conditionning was not working properly, hence it was quite hot in the room. Also,... More
