Great place to stay to visit Tuscany. Few minutes away from San Gimignano. The rooms are comfortable and the view from the balcony one of the best we have seen while travelling around in Tuscany, great for breakfast or a glass of Chianti at night! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anyone going to Tuscany.

This is the place that one always dreams of when you think of visiting Tuscany. Panicole is not a village but a cluster of houses along a narrow strip of road with a beautiful little church. It is a few minutes drive from the beautiful walled town of San Gimignano. They have a supermarket just outside the walls where you... More

This is a great stay for relaxing and visiting Toscana. The holiday apartments are located in the small village of Pancole, just outside San Gimignano. With a splendid sceanry, comfortable rooms, and quitet nights this is a perfect location. Thr appartments are new, clean, and nicely furnished. The staff friendly. There is a garage for parking. A small swiming pool.... More

Bottom line: we booked an apartment for six nights and left after two, losing the money for the rest of the 4 night; just not to stay there…! Both bathrooms were awful; suitable for a cheap hostel and not for a respectable stay… showers were cheap and basic, at a level of a cheap dormitory stile rather than for a... More

We stayed in Casa Lari for a week in June 2013 and thought it was an excellent place to spend an Tuscan holiday. We had a one-bedroom-apartment in the first floor (ground level). The apartment had two balconies - one facing the valley with spectacular views, and the other by front door with a table and chairs for eating outside.... More

Casa "I lari" is just outside S.Gimignano in a very small place called "Pancole", very easy to reach following the direction available on their wesite. At our arrival, we were offered a bottle of wine (we chose the red one).... a nice way to say"welcome" :) Since we stayed just 2 nights, we chose the double-room: very well equipped (... More

Casa Lari is spectacularly situated with incredible views, and the apartments are quaint and you won't want for anything. Andrea who runs the place couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. The apartment we stayed in had a bedroom, a dining area and kitchen (with every utensil you can think of) and a sofa bed. Everything was spotlessly clean, and... More

We could not have chosen a better place for the Tuscany portion of our trip....charming, immaculate, peaceful and remote yet easy route for our day trips, and more! Andrea was so pleasant, helped us with the laundry and every little question we had! The place has only 10-ish apartments, and is surrounded by an olive orchard, overlooking the Valley of... More

We stayed at Casa Lari and found it to be perfect in every way. We had the 2-bedroom villa, and it was such a charming base for our day trips in the area. Two brothers (both handsome and charming!) run the place; everything was spotlessly clean, and our breakfast pastries, coffee, milk and juice were replaced each afternoon for the... More

Stayed here with friends for a week and found it perfect for our needs: Clean and spacious apartment, well equipped kitchen, nice balcony with a view over the Toscanan landscape, in the midst of a small village with friendly people. The management was very friendly and gave good advice on opportunities around. Nice to live a bit away from the... More
