We were enchanted with Podere Sant'Elena from the moment we turned up the little lane to find the lovely B & B nestled on the hilltop. We sat on the terrace that has the most amazing view, every morning with coffee and evening with wine. It was the end of May and the fireflies were out, what a treat to... More

This local family owned B&B situated outside the town has incredible views of the Towers of San Gimignano. The sunsets are spectacular. The rooms are modern and beautifully kept. The pool is large and a delightful place to retreat to after a day of sightseeing. The grounds are beautifully kept. This is a delightful place to stay for a few... More

We stayed for a week in this lovely B&B. Our hosts Barbara & Elaine could not be more helpful. The room was quite spacious with an em-suite shower room. Everything was immaculately clean and well presented. We had a great view of the pool area. Breakfast set you up for the day, with a very wide selection of different foods.... More

This is a perfect location for exploring the neighbourhood, especially San Gimignano. The breakfast is nice, you can have it inside and outside. Parking is safe and the staff attitude is very nice. if you have any concerns or questions, they help you. I will never forget their hospitality and the view from my room overlooking the “ancient Manhattan”! :-)... More

We returned yesterday from a nine night stay and I could have stayed so much longer. The location is wonderful and the accommodation clean and comfortable and the views amazing. For the staff nothing was too much trouble and they were all lovely and so friendly we felt so welcome. The home made pastries are delicious and to sit in... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in June 2015. Very reasonable price for a beautiful location - fantastic views over San gimignano. Lovely pool (a little cold though) and a great wee pizzeria down the lane. San gimignano is about a twenty minute walk - downhill then up and most pleasant. Friendly, helpful staff. Basic breakfast and good sized, but... More

Excellent location, close to San Gimignano but on a quiet hillside, with a view of the entire city across the valley. Pool was refreshing in the heat and very clean, with nice landscaping. Large, clean room with a lovely bathroom. You can eat the plentiful breakfast outside with a gorgeous view or in the breakfast room. The city is a... More

It was altogether a very pleasant experience. Located in the midst of vineyards and olive plantations and an uninterrupted view of San Gimignano. Staff extremely helpful and pleasant. Good breakfast. Wonderful place in typical Tuscany The breakfast room can be a bit of a challenge at times because of its small size, but fun, however, there is the option to... More

A charming B&B in the quintessential Tuscan countryside. Our room had the most incredible view of San Gimignano - one you could never tire of ... Beautiful in the setting sun and stunning at sunrise... The breakfasts are the best we had during our 3 weeks in Italy. The family runs a bakery in town and serve their tasty breads,... More

Fantastic location on a hill amongst vineyards and olive groves, this gem of a guest house offers superb vistas of San Gimignano and surrounds. The facilities are excellent and our freshly produces breakfast included omelette and a selection of fresh pastries from our hosts bakery. Staff are lovely. Highly recommend a stay . We are here for 3 nights.
