Had I died and gone to heaven! Our first visit to Italy and Tuscany. What great choices we made as far as location, accomodation type and style, restaurants and activities (thanks to the use of Trip Advisor)! We had the room with the best view (no 6) of the walled city of San Gimignano and the Tuscan countryside in general.... more

To me this home was exactly what I imagined tuscany to be. A beautiful house, set on a quiet road, with an amazing view of the countryside and of San Gimignano in the distance. We stayed here for 2 days, but could have stayed a week. The home was beautiful, the room was nice and clean, and the pool was... more

The spot was marvellous with a phantastic panoramic view of San Gimignano. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything was nice, clean and well-tended (room, garden, pool). The breakfast was extraordinary rich in choice and taste: sweets, fresh fruit and sandwiches, real orange juice, coffee, tea and hot chocolate as much as you like. Do not miss to try... more

My wife and I stayed for a week in May. We had room 6 (which along with room 7) had stunning views across the vineyards to San Gimignano. The room was clean and comfortable. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful and the whole place was beautifully maintained (Nice garden). The pool was fine. We couldn't actually come up with... more

We walked to San Gimignano every evening for eating out, it takes about 25 Minutes walking through the Vine Yards down the hill and then up to San Gimignano on the other side. (You can always get a taxi or drive as an alternative)The views... more

My husband and I spent a week at the Podere for our Honeymoon. It is a lovely relaxing spot in a nature preserve, very close to town, shops, and a good midpoint to visit Pisa, Siena, and Florence. We did daytrips and it was perfect! Our luggage was lost and the staff was very helpful in contacting the airline for... more

We arrived on our honeymoon with a wicked flu-bug and boy was this place a sight for sore eyes. Simply gorgeous villa accommodation with shuttered windows that opened to the absolutely incredible vista of vineyards and San Gimignano beyond. The rooms were lovely, large and very well appointed. A wonderful restorative peaceful place to recover. The only drawback was that... more
