So glad we stayed here. Very relaxed and ideal location close to village, although you need to mindful its uphill walk going there (5 mins)! We were simply after a base from which to explore surrounding area. Everything about the property exceeded our expectations. Its has got a lot of character which is the result of the owners hard work.... More

Villa Alba is a wonderful B&B accommodation in San Gimignano. The bedrooms are very comfortable and tasty furnished. They are tidy and have a nice view on the garden. The breakfast is abundant and delicious: homemade cakes, cookies and jam (like those from the “grandmother”) and also tasty Pecorino-cheese and flavorsome ham. All the best for a good start in... Perfect location. 5 min walk to the historic centre. The pool is a bonus. Plenty of sunbeds. Breakfast is lovely and plentiful. Family run business and very friendly. They don't speak a lot of English but the girl who serves breakfast was fluent. the only downside is they don't have air conditioning so we had to leave the windows open... More

Breakfast was on time every day and nice. Only speaks Italian but we did fine communicating. Rooms are very clean and place is beautiful. Walking distance to San Gimignano. Grocery store right next door. Security gate at night. Beautiful scenery all around. Easy access to small towns around Tuscany.

Nice and charming villa in the lovely village San Gimignano (walking distance), convenient room, friendly and welcoming owners, perfectly situated for day trips in beautiful Tuscany. And a savory breakfast too.

Our stay in Villa Alba was very good. Room are very clean and comfortable, and the place is simply charming. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is awesome. It's outside the city walls so it has parking, and you can walk to the old city in less than 5 min. Highly recommended.

The Villa is gorgeous, the people super friendly (the lady we worked with didn't speak English, but it wasn't a problem at all) and the breakfast was a bigger spread than I expected. Be sure to spend some time relaxing on their beautiful grounds - the photos don't do it justice. Short walk to San Gimignano. The rooms are very... More

We have been to San Gimignano several times but had never known about Villa Alba. The house is a classic villa, just so clean and well furnished, we had Room 4 with the balcony and the Villa is built to a wonderful standard. It is only a 5-10 minute walk to the centre of San Gimignano, and with free secure... More
