We stayed in quad room with great views of the valley. Room was spacious and comfortable. As with most hotels in the town it is old but well maintained and staff was helpful. Very close to the gate. I parked the car in parking lot #1, which is the cheapest lot but further down from the wall. Continental breakfast was... More

In the heart of the city, near to one of the main entrance and is a good thing since you cannot get in with car. Very clean and gentle. We were with our pet and didn't make any problem. Small as any hotel in San Gimignano but very cute.

We stayed here in July 2015 and chose the hotel due to its proximity just in the walled city of San Gimignano. The location did not disappoint, and the Countryside view room lived up to its promise with a fantastic vista out towards the Tuscany fields. Unfortunately that was where the positives stop. The air conditioning could not cope and... More

We stayed here for two nights in June. Our room was 'countryside' facing so the view was stunning. Friendly welcome from staff. Room was large, clean and had all you needed (ceiling fan and aircon were appreciated as it was 30+ outside). We were on half board basis but the food was worth it, we ate well both nights. We... This is a really nice hotel and our room had a shared balcony with terrific views over the countryside. It was also a pleasure to eat here as the food was excellent and the restaurant has windows all down one side which again overlooks the countryside. Despite its central location it was very quiet.

The hotel is close to the entrance of this small and cosy city of San Gimignano. One side of the hotel looks to the narrow road as the other side was treasure. The minute we saw the terrace overlooking georgous tuscan fields was memorable. You can spend all day on that terrace watching the view. I would love to go... More

We booked this hotel based on location (just inside the wall near the public bus stop) and reasonable price. Since we only planned to stay one night, the room was not as important. We were wonderfully surprised to check in and find a deck outside the room that overlooked the walls and beautiful valley. After a fun day hiking around... More

By all means, upgrade to the Jr. Suite with magnificent picture-postcard views.Big room, quiet side of the hotel, and views that simply amaze. Yes, you can get the same view from the restaurant (open for breakfast only during the winter), but there is nothing like waking up to that view from the room. I felt like a celebrity! Staff is... Booked this hotel based on positive tripadvisor reviews and the fact that it was a good price compared to many other hotels in San Gimignano. There is no parking (no vehicles) inside the town walls and the recommended car park (lower cost one) is over 400 yards away. We dropped off and picked up by the gate just outside the... More

We arrived in San Gimignano by bus and were delighted to find the hotel was just inside the town wall . The greeting from the staff was very efficient and friendly, our room was very nice overlooking the front entrance of the hotel therefore over the main street , it was great to open the window and watch people going...
