We booked this hotel based on location (just inside the wall near the public bus stop) and reasonable price. Since we only planned to stay one night, the room was not as important. We were wonderfully surprised to check in and find a deck outside the room that overlooked the walls and beautiful valley. After a fun day hiking around... More

By all means, upgrade to the Jr. Suite with magnificent picture-postcard views.Big room, quiet side of the hotel, and views that simply amaze. Yes, you can get the same view from the restaurant (open for breakfast only during the winter), but there is nothing like waking up to that view from the room. I felt like a celebrity! Staff is... Booked this hotel based on positive tripadvisor reviews and the fact that it was a good price compared to many other hotels in San Gimignano. There is no parking (no vehicles) inside the town walls and the recommended car park (lower cost one) is over 400 yards away. We dropped off and picked up by the gate just outside the... More

We arrived in San Gimignano by bus and were delighted to find the hotel was just inside the town wall . The greeting from the staff was very efficient and friendly, our room was very nice overlooking the front entrance of the hotel therefore over the main street , it was great to open the window and watch people going... There are very few hotels to chose from when visiting San Gimignano. We spent 2 nights at the Hotel Bel Soggiorno on the 2nd floor with a room facing the street. It was a large room and had a large bathroom as well. The room was clean and quiet. There is in-room wi-fi service. There is also a small lounge... More

We loved this bed & breakfast. Both of us work in the hotel business and truly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were very clean and larger than we expected especially the bathroom. The view from our room was breathtaking. Each time we looked out we felt we were looking at a painting. Our room overlooked the Tuscany valley. The sunrise... More

This hotel is perfect..a beauty, spacious room with a balcony and a superb view over the surrounding countryside. Vert helpful staff, good breakfast. It will be our standard place to stay on future visits.

The hotel appears to have been recently renovated. If that is not the case, then it is extremely well maintained. Rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable and the location is perfect - just inside the old town walls and within easy walking distance of everything. Parking was difficult in the second half of August (but that's true of all of... More
