Lovely little place about 10 mins (8kms) outside San Gimignano. It feels like a large house with a communal living area and pool. The rooms are all unique and lovely and it really is cosy. The pool is a nice feature to return to at the end of a day of touring. They pride themself on good food & wine... more

As the last stop on our honeymoon we decided we would stay here. It was very much in the middle of no where, so you need a car . We had a sat nav to help us find it but it didn't take us to the right place, so make sure that you use a map too!We also discovered that... more

Our stay at Casolare di Libbiano was definitely relaxing and its definitely a peaceful place, but I'm surprised to hear its the best place one lady has ever stayed. I was slightly misled by all the other reviews on here about just how nice it would be, after spending ages looking for a quiet, rural, rustic B&B in Tuscany for... more

By far the best hospitality and holiday experience I have ever had. It is hard to describe how fantastic this place is... the food and fantastic hospitality by Andrea can not be matched anywhere. The pool is divine, the surroundings just so peaceful and relaxing. Dinner each night in the porch was truly special and very reasonably priced too. The... more

My husband Keith and I are one of the two British couples referred to who stayed at Casolare for a fortnight. I do admit finding it was a problem but once we settled in to 'Gallia' the small room with bathroom set outside the main building and ate our gorgeous lunch of ham, melon, salad, bread and beer we knew... more

To preface this review, we had cold weather with rain and wind the entire 7 days we were here. It was our 1st time in Italy and were excited about staying in Tuscany in a villa but be advised that although Casolare is nice and the dinners are great that it does not have any telephone, TV, clocks, radio, or... more

Berta and Andrea were the perfect hosts and Casolare di Libbiano was the best! We were a bit skeptical about sending a personal check in the mail for our deposit, considering what we read from others. Everything was perfect!!!!!!!!! Casolare di Libbiano was absolutely beautiful, the breakfasts were wonderful, always served with a smile from Andrea. We originally wanted to... more

WOW! I am typically a very critical person and very hard to please, but Casolare Di Libbiano was the PERFECT honeymoon getaway for me and my wife. Berta and Andrea were the most gracious hosts and the food was by far the most memorable part of our trip! We didn't plan on this, but we ate there 4 out of... more

Once we attuned ourselves to the fun of following route signs without route numbers, and thus driving around in Tuscany/Umbria, finding this agriturismo inn was not too hard. Once we found it (as stated on its web site, 3 km down a rural dirt-gravel road, which in turn is perhaps 5-10 minutes west of S. Gimignano), we started smiling, and... more

Right in the middle of counrtyside in a great location. Pool area looked very nice and lots of flowers around the place. We stayed in a suite away from majority of rooms... more
