Staff are very friendly, speak good English and are helpful I cycled to the hotel so am not bothered by having to walk into San G however you can order a taxi if you don't want to walk (at night/in the dark this is advised) The gardens, terrace and pool area are peaceful and fabulous for relaxing. The room although... More

This property is a wonderful setting in northern Tuscany. You do need AND want a car. We had a room with a view of San Gimignano with a deck, which was worth the modest extra fee. The property is well maintained and the staff is helpful and reasonably fluent in English. Volterra is also a short pleasant drive. Siena is... More

Firstly this is a confusing review because some things about this place are outstanding, others very poor. Firstly it is in the hills of Tuscany. Advantages are peace and quiet and beautiful views. Disadvantage, you need a car but that's the same anywhere in Tuscany. However one REALlY needs a car here. The hotel has no food on the premises... More

Going to Italy and not staying at the Hotel Pescille is not an option. This simply is a home a way from home to us. We are given the royal treatment and we always feel that the staff are happy to see us once again. This is my fourth review of the Hotel Pescille so I won't repeat myself since... More

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Hotel Pescille. The location view is stunning over looking San Gimignano with both morning & evening light. The grounds are quite large and private areas possible. Pool and surrounding was very pleasant. The rooms are a little eclectic in their décor- they could do with a theme (currently half rustic half... More

Loved that this place is located on a hill above the town of San Gimignano and we could see the towers from the front of the hotel, but staff there were not friendly, warm, or particularly welcomong. There were 3 exceptions where certain kitchen staff members actually greeted us with smiles in the morning as we went to breakfast. Otherwise,... More

The hotel is absolutely adorable, it's the perfect setting for your Italian dream. The rooms are very spacious and the beds comfortable. It's a bliss waking up looking out over olive trees and vineyards (we didn't opt for the upgrade to San Gimignano view, and no regrets, but a balcony would have been nice). The staff are very accomodating and... More

We stayed here for tree nights early October and wished it had been at least a week. To come here from nice, but crowdy Firenze was the very right thing to do. With a "room with a view" and balcony facing the green landscape, olive trees and vineyards on the rear side of the hotel, you can sit for hours... More

We enjoyed the peaceful ambiance of Hotel Pescille with views of San Gimignano and places to walk, without the crowds and tourist buses. Blessed with a suite with 360 degree views of the Tuscan hillsides, we could relax on the first few days of our holiday. The first class coffee at breakfast, and the fact that they had added fruit... We stayed here for 4 nights in September. It is a lovely relaxing place a few kilometres from the tourist trap of San Gimignano. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with balconies providing glorious views of San Gimignano. There is a nice swimming pool and a somewhat disused looking tennis court. Breakfasts were adequate but could be improved a bit. It... More
