A beautiful place to begin our tour of Tuscany. The pool and views that awaited us made our first lunch there such a treat. A short uphill walk into San Gimignano (but then it's downhill for the return journey!) was worth it. San Gimignano is a little Tuscan gem! We loved our evening passeggiata for gelato and pre-dinner drinks in... More

We booked this hotel because it provided Tuscan views, walkability to restaurants and parking. The hotel is around 400m from the San Giovanni gate into San Gimignano - admittedly it is uphill but still very manageable. We used the hotel as a base to wander around Tuscany. We had a Jnr Suite which has a bedroom with firm King bed,... More

we stayed several nights and the hotel could not have been nicer. we had the countryside view including the view. nice short walk to town to restaurants and gelato. small charge for wifi, which since it is so small, i guess every euro counts.. its a very nice hotel in a very popular location, so the cost was no surprise.... A great base for several days of touring in western Tuscany. Hotel and grounds are "up-scale", well maintained, spacious and comfortable. The location, outside but within 10 minutes walk of the walled town, is near ideal. Pool and grounds are restful, and views will fill your camera lens. Breakfast is quite adequate. Paying for parking is a small additional cost,... More

We loved this hotel and San Gimignano in Tuscany. This is such a wonderful town and the only way to get around is to walk. The hotel wonderfully sited on a gentle hillside overlooking the Tuscan countryside and only about a 5-7 minute walk from town. We wisely upgraded for another 40 euros to a balcony room overlooking the pool... More

Very nice hotel, good location. My luggage was delayed, the staff, Romina and Erika, were most helpful in calling the airport in Rome and following up on my bag. Wonderfully friendly staff! We are most thankful for their help.

Our recent re visit to this hotel was as usual a delight. The views from the balcony rooms are wonderful. San Gimignano is a beautiful city to stay and with the hotel located a few minutes walk from the city walls makes it somewhere to relax during the day when SG is very busy. There are plenty of good restaurants... More

The location of this hotel is great as its only about a 400m walk to the beautiful walled town of San Gimignano. The hotel itself is very good, well maintained, clean and it has lovely views over the surrounding countryside. The pool area is very nice and it too has lovely views. Breakfast was very good particularly when taken on... More

Stayed here with a small tour group in September. View from our room was quintessential Tuscany. Enjoyed a wine (or two) from the balcony. Room on the small side, but balcony compensates. Really lovely breakfasts, good service. Nice tea at breakfast. Hotel reception attentive, & personable. Nice to be able to park our bikes out front too. Very easy walk... More

This hotel is situated well for visiting Florence, Lucca, Pisa and Siena and is only an easy stroll into San Gimignano, so location is great. The staff are very obliging and pleasant. Our room wasn't very big but overlooked the pool and typical Tuscan countryside, although there was an additional charge of 40E/night for the privilege. I would recommend it... More
