This is a perfect escape from busy San gimigano. The hotel is beautiful and very well kept. Everywhere smelt so nice!! We had the pool practically to ourselves and felt so relaxed. Wonderful views of the town from the breakfast patio. Staff are polite and helpful

Very quiet, with a beautiful view. Perfect for couples. Upscale. Upon check-in, Charlie was exceptionally helpful in her knowledge of the area. The breakfast was quite lovely with homemade pastries and we appreciated the real silver for our tea and coffee. Note: Their king bed is two twins pushed together and they thankfully had air-conditioning. The location offers a great... More

We spent four wonderful nights there, using this fine hotel as a touring base, but we would have had just as nice a visit without leaving the grounds. Beautiful pool and private grounds, ideally safe for our little dog. Excellent service from everyone. Staying so long we would have appreciated more choice on the evening menu - maybe daily specials... More

My wife and I stayed here as part of a bike tour in May and we were very impressed. This kind of luxury is way beyond our usual budget but it was part of the package and we were spoiled. The hotel grounds (a former convent I think) were immaculate and stunningly beautiful. From the terrace we had a breath... More

Perfect location to discover Tuscany. A peaceful and authentic hotel. A simple luxe with a dedicated and charming staff. Lovely historical building with an amazing view on the village. Breakfast in the sun overlooking towers of San Gimignano is one of this piece of time you want to keep for a long time in your memory. Nice diner, great advices... More

Did not have great expectations initially because pictures posted on the hotel website weren't impressive at all. But things looked totally different as we drove up to the property. The exterior of the hotel was beautiful, the surrounding meticulously landscaped grounds were very pretty, inside was really charming as well. The hotel is like an old castle, except everything was... More

We stayed for 4 nights at Le Collegiata as part of our drive around Tuscany. It's the perfect place to explore the area, easy to drive in to Siena, San Gimignano and for a day's drive around the beautiful Chinati region. All the staff are extremely helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The first room we were given... More

Romantic, sophisticated, large rooms, enormous bathrooms, immaculate premises, excellent food, gorgeous views, amazing pool, incredible garden and landscape, super friendly staff, convenient location steps away from San Gimignano. If I ever marry again, I would do it here.

We stayed here during our trip through Italy and it was the best hotel we've ever stayed in by far! The location, views, pool, hospitality, cleanliness...I could go on and on about how wonderful this hotel is! If you are traveling through Tuscany, San Gimignano should be on your list to see and stay here and attend the wine tasting... More

My husband and I stayed here during our honeymoon! It was recommended to us by my parents who had stayed there years earlier. The place is just breath taking! So beautiful and well kept! The service is exquisite! The concierge took care of guiding us to the best wine tour places and restaurants of the area, and even took the... More
