Perfectly located in the centre of the town and the restaurant has both fabulous views and excellent food. Upper floors get the views as well. Room quite small and simple but perfectly adequate and staff very helpful. Nice bathroom goodies.

Worth the price if only for the views but everything was great, anyway. Spacious deluxe double room with private balcony and stunning views. Quiet, comfortable and all staff are very friendly and obliging. The hotel restaurant is great as well.

I visited San Gimignano 25 years ago while on a Euro Bike tour through Italy. I vowed to return and as luck would have it, managed to book back into the same hotel. Very quaint. Love this little town. After the tourists leave it is quiet and peaceful. Hotel can use some upgrading but it is charming.

Wonderful service, location right on the main square with spectacular views of the Tuscan countryside. Breakfast was fresh & yummy and Viviana was always ready with a hot cappuccino & a smile. Dinner in the hotel one evening was exceptional.

located centrally in the heart of San Gimignano, La Cisterna offers everything a traveler could want. Excellent food, wonderful staff, comfortable rooms and a location central to every site in town. The windows were HUGE and opened to the festive and energetic plaza.

We loved our first room at La Cisterna. The windows were large and opened out to a great view of the plaza.
