We visited Poggio Alloro for lunch as part of a day tour in Tuscany and our expectations were not high given the number of people there at the same time. But the service, food and wine were very good and plentiful right through to the Vin santo and cantucci to finish. The grounds of the farm and views out over... More

I cannot tell you how truly amazing this farm was and what a privilege and a pleasure it was to stay here! Our hostess, Sarah, (part of the family that owns this farm) and her staff were incredible. The accommodations were simple but accommodating. The food was out of this world. Everywhere you looked it was so beautiful...from the vineyards... More

I have no interest in wine or vineyards. I know, it's shocking. I was surprised to find myself interested in the tour of Fattoria Poggio Alloro. I enjoyed hearing about the olive harvests and seeing the trees. The property was beautiful. I had lunch . I have a medical condition that severely limits my food choices. The staff was accommodating.... More

Fattoria Poggio Alloro, the Fiorini family's agriturismo, was truly a magical experience! Prior to arriving at the farm, my husband and I had purchased a copy of Sarah Fiorini's cookbook: A Family Farm in Tuscany. Although we already had a glimpse of paradise, words cannot possibly describe the beauty we encountered upon arriving at the farm---rolling Tuscan hills overlooking the... More

My friends and I planned a trip to the Tuscany region of Italy. With the majority of my family being from the southern part of Italy it was a true delight to experience the food fare, sights, and customs of this region. First, let me say that the book Sarah Fioroni wrote, "A Family Farm in Tuscany" was the impetus... More

We stayed for a week at Fattoria Poggio Alloro and overall had a lovely time. The pros: a wonderful breakfast each morning with many options (meat, cheese, fruit, cereal, fresh milk, juices, yogurts, cakes, cookies) as well as fresh cappuccinos and scrambled eggs with prosciutto upon request for no additional charge. The view was breathtaking..I couldn't stop taking photos of... More

We visited for a farm tour and tour of the winery and for the wonderful lunch and wine tasting. The views from our table were awesome! The friendly family servers made our visit a highlight of our time in Italy!

When we went to Fattoria Poggio Alloro, we had a blast! We did so many things that were great, and the farm is really, really cool! It was so much fun! It was really awesome how we got to get a tour of the Fattoria Poggio Alloro by the owner of the farm, Sarah! It was especially fun when we... More

We didn't have the opportunity to stay here but we were fortunate to have a private farm tour with wine and cheese tasting overlooking the beautiful Tuscan landscape. I understand that the mornings can be busy as tours do frequent this farm, but we had a quiet afternoon all to ourselves. We booked the tour because we were looking for... More

We spend a wonderful week on this gorgeous farm. Everything was exactly as we expected it to be and even better. The view from the terrace, where dinner and lunch are served is of an breathtaking beauty. The food was fantastic: All freshly handmade authentic toscany food of an extremely high quality and served in a very familiar atmosphere. Everything... More
