We stayed a week at this fantastic place. It was a perfect base for exploring Tuscany. Our room and bathroom clean and spacious and the bed very comfortable. We also had table and chairs just outside and deckchairs around the corner - ours was a corner room. Wonderful view of green hills and San Gimignano. The undercover eating area very... More

The grounds are gorgeous with stunning sunset views of San Gimignano, acres of grapes, apricot & olive trees and herbs everywhere. Francesca and Gilberto, in dining, made the trip extra special. The frittatas with potato and rosemary were stellar...and the pecorino fresco with honey was scrumptious with a cappuccino each morning! I loved staying in this rustic, charming respite, but... More

The setting and grounds are very nice. The garden is equipped with nice furniture (picnic style) and the pool ist great. Breakfast is very good when the male cook is in the kitchen. For example he makes fresh omlettes when he see`s that the first guests come to dinner and the atmosphere is very good. But now to the restaurant.... More

We stayed at the Mormoraia for three night and enjoyed it very much! Altough there were plenty of rooms at the hotel, we found the hotel homelike and cosy. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Francesca, who made our day! She managed to remember quest names and had always smile at her face. Hotel is idyllic and... More

Four of us just returned from a 4 day stay at Mormoraia. Where do I begin? First, the location is absolutely perfect. A beautiful vineyard lined rolling hill property a short five minute drive from San Gimignano and only one hour from Florence. If you are looking to relax and get away from the daily grind this is the spot.... More

The hotel and people were wonderful. The hotel is set in an absolutely idyllic setting. We did not stay long enough. The host provided a small tour of the winery. The first white wine on their list (forgetting the name) is the best. The best meal we had while in Italy came out of this kitchen. The pool is a... More

What a special place! We absolutely loved our stay here. It was definitely one of the most relaxing, beautiful portions of our trip. My husband had to drag me out of there! Atmosphere: The property was amazing! The pool, outside dining area, and overall landscape were just divine. Watching the sunset, while eating a great dinner, put it over the... More

By far the best agroturismo in Siena! Lovely stay in the heart of Tuscany, nearby the medieval town San Gimignano (approx.10km) Spacious rooms, comfy beds, delicious breakfast, relaxing surroundings with endless vineyards and olive trees for morning hikes. Great restaurant as well. Make sure to buy their homemade olive oil!

My wife and I spent one night here on our eleven day trip to Italy. It was too short, it was our favorite stay. Giuseppina and everyone at Mormoraia made it wonderful. The room was nicely furnished and the bed was soft. Every direction you looked was a postcard view. The wine was great and the food was fabulous.
