In order to be just, the location of the hotel provides the guests with a beautiful view of the bay. But that's it. The rooms, are keept clean, however the furniture was old, the closet doors didn't work, the door to the balcony couldn't be locked and in TV only Italian chanels were offered. One of the TV sets didn't... More

The location and views across to Elba were everything we hoped for. We asked for a sea view but the room we were allocated with its massive balcony, good bathroom and everything worked including a useful fridge. Luckily our SatNav found it OK. THe facility of a small beach and lounger area in Summer was excellent and the centre of... More

This is the only hotel I know which, because it is built up the side of a cliff, you enter at road level into the car park and then take a lift down three floors to reception. The quirkiness continues with a unique decoration style in the main lobby. Rooms are clean and have all necessary facilities. Breakfast is adequate... More

Someone took us to this hotel and recommend it as one of the best hotels from Piombino. After staying there for almost a week I'm agree to disagree. The only advantage was it's location. As minus the rooms are little, with iron beds where you can hurt if you are not careful, not to mention that is very dangerous if... More

The hotel is well positioned on the cliff face and has a fantastic seaview. Difficult to find initially because satnav does not recognise location. Rooms were reasonably equipped, comfortable and clean. Food was excellent and service was first rate. Value for money was about the best I have had. Own car park is small, but there was always space during... More

I was at this hotel on business in july 2013.The staff are not well trained. They are very friendly. I was asked to change rooms on 3 occasions as the best rooms had been pre booked. Our company had people there for 6 months during a period when the hotel would not have had a high occupancy so we would... More

Poor hotel with a long history, standing more then 1,5 km from the city centre and near 3 km from the ferry terminal to Elba. Not a value for money and impressions. Smelling rooms, noisy air-conditioner and sleepy staff. And absolutely unreasonable price! The only positive thing is a private 20 meters beach.

The view from the balcony was very nice, but the room smelled like bad men's cologne and the shower had very little pressure. Breakfast did not have a huge assortment and fruit was left from one day to the next. (I saw the same mushy kiwi in the bowl 3 days.) The evening staff woman was nice and helpful and... More

Rooms were nice and clean and overlooked the Mediterranean Sea. Caterina was great!!! She helped us, not only with meal selection, but with helping us get back to the train. The restaurant deck was overlooking the sea and Elba island. Gorgeous views. In their restuarant the food was fantastic! Had the best tuna ever. Good place to have a down... More

We were met with the smell cigarettes at reception and on a closer look we realised the very rude woman on reception was indeed smoking! The hotel is old and dated and very overpriced when I think of some of the other places we stayed at in Italy for the same price. I should be fair and mention the girl... More
