Hotel Cecile lands between Piazza dei Miracoli and the city center, so both are easily accesible on foot in a few minutes. Plus: comfortable big twin bed, clean room, big bathroom, tv. Minus: small shower cabin, no fridge/Air condition, no breakfast, poor soundproofing, only one out of 3 persons from the staff speaks also english, floors accesible only by staircase.... More

We stayed one night at the Cecile, prior to travelling on to our villa in Tuscany. The hotel is located only a short distance from the Leaning Tower etc., and is very easy to get to from the airport, using the ordinary public bus service (costs Euros1.20, see hotel website for details). There is a dedicated bus service available from... More

We were forced to book a night in this hotel as the hotel we were mean't to be staying at closed down and did not refund us so we needed something cheap. Expectations weren't that high as we knew it was a two star hotel but we were in for a shock! When we arrived we were greeted by an... More

We luckily only stayed here for one night (we later discovered this wasn't as bad as another hotel we stayed in!!) but having said that, it was not all bad. The man was abrupt and barely spoke English (a fault on our part to be honest) and so language was a barrier. He was helpful enough but the hotel itself... More

Great location from the main sight - the leaning tower! We had been to Pisa before so we were not sight seeing and we purely just needed someone to stay after our flight in and before our train out towards the Cinque Terre region in the morning. This hotel was fine for that! It was a bit better than I... More

On arrival we didn't even receive a 'hello' from the man working on the front desk. We were grunted at and told to go upstairs to our room. You are expected to pay for the use of towels in the hotel and air con is not going to happen here. Despite this, it is within walking distance to the main... More

Pros: The hotel was clean. It is very close to the Leaning Tower. Cons: Although the information and booking says air conditioned rooms, ours only had a ceiling fan (Room 24) - this meant we had to try and sleep with the windows wide open and constant noise from the street, including a 2am dog fight. As we'd been in... More

We spend in Cecile amazing 4 days. Hotel is very clean, tidy and quiet! Our room and bathroom were perfectly clean, well set-up, there were clean towels and bathroom cosmetics! Bed and mattress very comfortable. Every day after breakfast we found changed new towels and bed in our room. It really surprised us. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel... More

We found Hotel Cecile after it was recommended to us by a local. We had planned on staying at a different hotel (Relais Under the Tower) but on arrival there we left straight away!! Hotel Cecile fortunately had a room spare for us and the lady on the front desk spoke a small amount of English and was very helpful.... More

Got caught on a late flight into Pisa that was delayed and had to scrounge for a local hotel on arrival. The first hotel with en-suite facilities available from the airport self-help map interfaced-thing was Hotel Cecile, in the “Old Part” of Pisa. This facility is located on the corner of Via Roma and Via Alesandro Volta (43°43'6.46"N; 10°23'43.60"E) and... More
