We stayed at the San Ranieri prior to a morning flight the next day. Rate was reasonable at 84 euros and near the airport so it seemed a good choice. The hotel is pretty funky, very modern but the room was clean and decent size with good sized bathroom. Check in was fine, we went out in the evening and... more

My husband arranged to take me here for a special birthday trip. Reading some of the reviews on these pages before we went, I must admit to having had some reservations about what to expect. These turned out to be unfounded. This is a very modern hotel so if you are looking for something more traditional hotel then it is... more

I stayed only one night in the "SanRanieri" hotel. The location is not excellent for a sightseeing trip, but this was known before. Check-In was ok, although only one of the 4 employees spoke proper english. I went to bed early that night, because my flight was leaving Pisa at 08:30 next morning and it was a very stressful day.... more

Found this hotel on web and was attracted by its exterior, I immediatly confirmed my reservation online, even though the location is not closed to most of the sightseeing spots in Pisa. With loads of expectation to this hotel prior to my arrival. Unfortunately, nightmare started at reception desk. The gentleman at FrontDesk told my booking with promotion rate was... more

Ok, I've stayed around 300 nights at hotels during the last three years, so I've seen quite a lot. Maybe that's why I know how to appreciate places like this! It's just such a refreshingly different take on a four star hotel! The location may not be the most convenient if you are travelling without car, but it's also what... more

The hotel location is not very good, but the hotel itself is ok nothing too special. I think they have tried to hard to be modern and just lack the finish to be called a 4*. The staff on the other hand were helpful and friendly. The hotel restaurant which is about 3 mins walk from hotel is nice and... more

Modern Hotel with comfortable rooms, no lounge furniture in reception, breakfast buffet with wide choice. Good garden area with plenty of tables, ideal in the summer, hopeless in the winter. Food at Dinner acceptable, Restaurant Manager has no idea or people skills. Overall staff pleasant and friendly but lack any direction,as no Management presence. more

Had to go out to Pisa for a week for work, so was looking ideally for an airport hotel. However, as there are no actual airport hotels in Pisa, this was about a 5-6 minute drive away. Booked through lastminute.com, which I would not do again as their room descriptions were misleading... be wary of this. On arrival I took... more

cool place! we stayed here just for one night (after returning from Florence). Pisa itself is...well... not great, and there not much to see (apart from the obvious!). The hotel is great through - really funky with its outer changing colour, modern & stylish interiors and nice resteraunt and bar. Was great for staying for one night (and we eat... more

Thought the area was a bit rough. The hotel does not look as impressive in real life as it does in the brochures but if you like modern is still very nice. It is certainly quirky. It is very clean Reception staff were friendly (Milly in particular). Breakfast was excellent. Very convenient to the airport. Showed my parents and grand... more
