We travelled from the UK via Easyjet from Gatwick, flights on time and we arrived mid afternoon on a hot sunny day. On the map it looks about a mile from the airport , or a bus to the centre - we took a taxi for approx 14 Euro inc tip. We arrived at the hotel, and were checked in... more

I am usually not a fan of modern-type decor but I liked this hotel's combination of the older-style architecture and the relaxing garden they have with more modern furniture. I was worried after reading the reviews that they would put us behind the front desk in the noisy room since we were only staying one night but we had a... more

Booked this hotel direct based on the excellent reviews on Trip Advisor. Cannot say whether they are correct or not as when we arrived at 5pm they told us the hotel was full and they had no obligation to honour our reservation. They were rude, dismissive and completely unhelpful. They had booked us a room at another hotel which was... more

Looked at several different hotels before we stumbled onto this one. Completely updated, romantic garden with fountain, internet, wonderful people, spotless room, with high thread count sheets. In Italy these things are unheard of. Had a great time. I can not recommend it high enough. I would recommend this hotel to my mother in law... enough said. Stay here and... more

The Novecento was a great place to stay in Pisa. Via Roma is an ideal location, within easy reach of all the main attractions. The hotel itself is built around a beautiful courtyard garden with a lovely fountain. I was in a room off the garden which was elegant, spacious and extremely comfortable. The breakfast room is stylish, with views... more

Location is OK but the hotel itself was very disappointing. We got a room on the street level which was extremely noisy both because of the noise from the street and because the room was located right behind the reception desk (which was not pleasant when somebody checked out at 5am in a very loudly way !). We were pleasantly... more

In summary, a lovely cute hotel, only 5 minutes from the tower, pretty rooms, hotel garden, great breakfast, good value, wonderful friendly and efficient service. Stayed here for one night in September and loved it. The hotel is pretty and we were given one of the garden rooms, which was cute and quiet. The ceiling had some wooden beams, a... more

We were disappointed by the Novecento given the reviews on many Internet sites. Do not accept a room on the street level or breakfast area which is noisy and echoes will wake you up at 6 AM. The only decent rooms are on the garden. We only got 5 hours sleep between the street noises until 1 AM and the... more

Stayed for one night after 2 week Tuscan holiday. Lovely family owned hotel in quiet street but very convenient for main sites. Had great room with balcony. Quiet garden retreat in the rear. Didn't have breakfast as had early start but no complaints. more

The Hotel Novecento is a small, family owned hotel in the center of Pisa. We actually walked to this hotel from the main train station. (Takes about 15 minutes-get at map at the information desk at the station. Or take a cab, about 8 Eurios) We booked on the hotel website and when we arrived were given a room streetside.... more
