Stayed here a few years ago due to an early flight, and booked it again now of the same reason. We paid 13 euro by taxi to the airport which is about the same as from the city center, if not more. The hotel is much dirtier now than last time I was there, especially the carpets. Not a nice... More

We stayed for one night following an evening arrival into Pisa airport. Though it is close to the airport, it is still essential to take a taxi as there is a dual carriageway and railway track between the hotel and the airport. The taxi cost 12 euros on a Saturday evening, with tip, for a short ride. The carpet in... More

Plus side: Helpful staff on reception when we were leaving, including organising a free shuttle to the airport. Bar staff also pleasant (but bar totally lacking in atmosphere) and couldn't fault the domestic staff either. Minus side: Most of the reception staff were unhelpful. The air-conditioning didn't work: we were told to open a window to cool the room down... More

Dear Mr. Donnelly, regretting for your disappointing about us, i would like to clarify air conditioning is not working yet because during your stay, many guests was demanding heating specially during the night. It is not possible in our system provide heating and air conditioning at same time. Everybody in Italy was happy for the hot temperature in these days,... More

This hotel is OK for one night and good value for the price I got online but not for a holiday base. It's €20 to get to the airport by taxi but you are the wrong end of Pisa for most of the sights. The room was clean even if the bed was very hard and the bathroom was spotless.... More

Dear Hogget-lover, thanks for your review. That's right we are closest to airport than city center especially if you do not have your own car to move but Pisa is a small city and distance are not so important. When you get the center, quite all monument are walking distance. More

BAd location and Room decor very dated, room shabby, grout in bathroom needs replacing, carpet needs replacing, furniture needs replacing. Thick dust covered the vent in the bathroom and in the morning the sewerage smell from the bathroom was overpowering.  That's a pity because service is good in particular way at the bar. I think owner should seriously think to... More

This was the perfect place to stay if you need to access the airport. If you're looking to be in the heart of Pisa, you might want to look elsewhere. You have to take a shuttle to the train station, which the hotel provides for free, but it's kind of away from everything. I needed to stay there because I... More

This hotel was recently rebranded to Golden Tulip exactly around the day we arrived. So was a bit confused when we arrived and found the hotel name was different. Around the area there is nothing much to see. Room is nice enough with reasonably comfortable bed. Breakfast was a standard fare and tasted alright. Recommended to stay here if you... More

My flight having arrived into Pisa Airport close to midnight, the Golden Tulip was a handy pitstop hotel before proceeding to Florence next morning. The reception was clean, with staff helpful and news headline sheets available in major European languages. Staying only one night, i only had time to give a cursory notice to facilities, but English-language TV and Wi-Fi... More

The Golden Tulip Galilei Hotel (formerly My One Hotel brand) was a comfortable place for us to stay while spending a couple of days touring Pisa.
