On the plus side the night staff when we checked in were very pleasant and the proximity to the Duomo and Tower were great, The breakfast buffet was better than normal for Italy. However the train tracks run right across the street all night and we did not get any sleep. The morning staff at reception was very rude and... More

We'd read some average reviews since booking but we enjoyed staying here. The welcome was friendly, the rooms were comfortable, the breakfast extensive, the location was great for the tower and for the local railway station S Rossore (ideal for a trip to Lucca). It took a bit longer to get into the town centre but it was easy enough.... More

We chose this hotel partly for its free parking facilities and that it could be easily reached from the airport. The location is in a residential area of Pisa but it is only about a 10-15 minute walk to the Tower. As a result, there isn't much in the area in terms of restaurants but we did see what appeared... Our family of 4 spent just one night in this hotel in Pisa. It is quite luxurious, and we had two really lovely rooms, with interconnecting doors. The beds were enormous and very comfortable, and we had sky TV and remote control window shutters. It is about a 5 minute walk to the Leaning Tower, and we could just see... More

We stopped in Pisa for 2 nights and from the airport it was easy to find a cab just outside the airport and the taxi took 5 mins and about 8 euros to get to the Hotel Grand Bonanno. On check in the staff were very friendly ,very helpfull and profesional. We asked for a family room as we were... More

welcome was cold by staff, room was small, parking free, old hotel but clean, noisy, uncomfortable bed. Breakfast was terrible. Would probably hit stay here again. Not worth 89 euro and no way it can be a 4 star hotel

The staff are all friendly. The breakfast in the morning is not something I would jump out of bed for, but the quality is decent. Even with closed windows you get quite a nice chorus from the passing cars and trains. The walk to the city center is as mentioned in previous posts approximately 15 min. Now on to the... More

A nice hotel located near the Leaning Tower of Pisa. The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast ok and the rooms quite clean. Only thing is the beds were a little hard for our backs! Wifi access is only free in the lobby. Florence and La Spezia are just a train ride away.

As others have said before, I am not sure that this hotel is worthy of 4 stars however we did find it to be clean, comfortable and good value for money. The leaning tower and other sights are within walking distance, parking was free and the wifi worked well for us. Breakfast was simple but good and the staff were... More

I don't know how this place got 4 stars. The beds were the worst we've ever been on, it felt like we were sleeping on the floor. We stayed two nights here. On the positive side, the location was pretty good, the breakfast was good, and the parking was free. I was annoyed that they didn't have any laundry/iron facility;... More
