An excellent hotel for the price. Some distance from the main sights of the city but very convenient for the station, which is why we chose it, as we had an early flight and the bus for the airport leaves from the station. The room was very comfortable and the staff very friendly.

Stayed for four nights choosing the hotel due to excellent Tripadvisor ratings and being located about 5 mins walking distance from the local train station. The hotel was very clean and beautifully presented with great character and management and staff were very friendly and helpful speaking excellent English. On enquiring about train times one morning the manager printed a list... More

Just back from a short break in Pisa and as part of the package, we had 3 nights at Hotel Alessandro della Spina. It's located about 5 minutes walk from Pisa Centrale train station and at first glance, looks like a family home, mainly because it once was. On entering, you are aware that in a way it still is... We picked this hotel as we needed somewhere to stay which was close to the train station, but also within easy walking distance to the sights of Pisa. The location isn't the most pleasant for a first timer to Pisa, but seemed safe. We arrived a little early to check in, but were allowed to leave our bags in the... More

We just loved staying here in Pisa (one of 10 stayed at in Italy)- whilst not the most popular town for sights and long stays - it is very affordable and we used it as a base to other towns on day trips etc....It is like a big happy family they are just lovely, the room was spacious and clean.... located a few minutes walk to the train station and centre of town this was a convenient place to stop for a couple of days ad explore the region room was large enough, but same can't se said for the shower, which also fluctuated in temp to the point of frustration. wifi was also touchy and had to be relogged... This simple hotel located 5 minutes walk from the train station. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the main sights of the leaning tower etc are about 25 minutes pleasant walk away. The hotel offers clean and comfortable rooms and a decent breakfast and constitutes a good choice for a budget break.

We arrived and departed Pisa via train, so the location (5 minute walk) was perfect for us and our one night stay in Pisa. Room and bathroom were both very spacious. Nice, easy walk from the hotel through the historic city and over the River Arno to the Leaning Tower and Field of Miracles. The Duomo is particularly impressive. Front... More

We stayed one night and the hotel is very close to the train station as well as many restaurants. The room and the bathroom were very spacious. The Staff were very helpful and they do provide a continental breakfast. We walked to the Leaning Tower from here although the bus and taxis are readily available.

Centrally located about five minutes from the train station. Nice three star property. Very helpful and nice staff excellent really. This hotel is extremely good value for money. The wi fi not great if one is depending on using it while staying here. It is free but extremely erratic. I also found this the case while staying in Florence so... More
