I booked this hotel as a last minute surprise for our 40th wedding anniversary, I couldn't have made a better choice. Close to the vibrant Corso Italia, we were right at the hub of the city. It was a bit of a walk (20 min) to the Leaning Tower, Duomo complex but it's such a lovely city with great cafe... More

We arrived at the b&b late in the evening, and saw Irene looking out of the window for us. The façade is Victorian Tuscany building with a small shop and pizzeria underneath. There are a couple of flights of stairs, with no lift, so could be a problem for people with disabilities. Irene was very welcoming and then left us... More

This is a charming B&B with a lovely host. We stayed for one night before collecting our hire car and travelling into Tuscany. It's walking distance from the train station, and right next to a bus stop that takes you to and from the airport. Pisa is not very big - we walked from the B&B to the Leaning Tower,... More

We stayed here for one night before we met with our walking tour group. Minutes away from the train station, it is also close to the airport - just a short drive away and we were really grateful to Simon and Irene for arranging transport. The B&B is right in the heart of Pisa, within easy walking distance of the... More

We stayed for one night at 23 B&B and it was superb, it's in a fantastic location, the decor can be likened to a Royal Villa and the host Irene and her husband are very helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast was all home made and our room was absolutely delightful. We were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too... More

Hi, This is a great place to stay for more than one night - it's not just for stop-over to/from the airport. It is close the train station and the airport bus stop is just across the road. You'll be helped up the atairs with your bags too - its 3 flights up. It's very cosy and chic - just... More

We stayed at 23, for 3 nights. Location is central, and the property is immaculate and very clean throughout. Owners, Irene and her husband Simon, are very friendly and helpful. As mentioned in other reviews there can be some noise from the surrounding square which can go on throughout the night. Apart from that we had an enjoyable stay

We stayed here for 2 nights and chose the B&B because it was family run and close to the station - both these aspects were spot on with a mere 5 minute walk to the station facilitating easy touring of the area and a very welcoming host only too eager to help with travel plans, maps & restaurant recommendations. Our... More

Words fail to do justice to the "23 bed&breakfast" experience. We spent the final two nights of our trip around Italy at No. 23 in Pisa. Arriving by train the property could not be closer to the station being located just a 2/3 min walk, at the apex of Piazza Vittoria Emanuelle and adjacent to the pedestrianised main shopping street... Lovely old building, but modernised with taste and sensitivity. Wonderful host, Irene. Great breakfasts - some of the best I have ever had. Great, stylish, individual rooms. Very good showers and air con. The only downsides are: a) Even with the windows shut and the air con noise masking it a bit, there was (at the least on the 2... More
