Yes, this hotel may be an old monastery but dont let the supposed 'romance' of tyhis blind you. It has a nice courtyard but thats about it. The rooms are extremely sparse, not even a chair or anywhere to even put a mirror etc ( I had to make do with the windowsill -but because the lighting was so bad... more

This was a simple hotel that used to be a monastery so the accommodations are sparse, but nevertheless comfortable. Who goes to Pisa to stay inside a hotel anyway? The breakfast was varied and it was nice to sit outside in the courtyard with the sun as company. Lovely pomegranate tree outside of my room and in the evenings you... more

This hotel is not at all quiet; at least not if your room is at the front of the hotel. Breakfast is nice, but no food served other than that. No bar, restaurant, lounge, etc....vending maching where you have a choice of coca-cola or water. The staff however is wonderful. They all speak English very well and are helpful. The... more

Stayed here one night on first nght in Italy. The reception staff on arival was very helpful and friendly lady, arrived late at night (about 9pm) and she helped out with maps and recommended some restaurants in the area. The hotel rooms are quite simple and basic but part of the experience is staying in a converted monastry, knoing that... more

The rooms are spacious and very clean but the hotel is far from the center of town. Expect to woken very early due to the breakfest service noise. I was told breakfest was included but when we got there it was not included. We were charged 18 Euros for breakfest and it was definately NOT worth it.. skip the breakfest... more

It's a very pretty and plain hotel. I like the way they've kept the simplicity, it suits the character. Breakfast was a bit pricey for what you get, but you can sit outside in the courtyard with the view of the arches of the hotel. It's a pretty picture to wake up to. Staff pretty helpful. The hotel location is... more

It's a converted monastery so that is what you get to stay in as advertised. The rooms are cold looking and uninviting with wooden shutters on the windows. For what it says it is it is a beautiful place with the cloisters. I found the girl on reception of arrival to be very friendly and pleasant. The staff at breakfast... more

I loved this place the minute I saw it! Beautiful, beautiful setting! They have made the conversion very well and somehow kept the monastic feel while supplying mod cons like AC and TV in the rooms. The rooms are all en suite I believe (there may be a very few that are not) and you reach your room by walking... more

Hotel is pretty central near a couple of nice restaurants. The complex itself is great - a converted monastery. The rooms are small but very nice (and included air conditioning) and bathroom had a great shower. Very clean. Breakfast was excellent. Would definitely stay again if we return to Pisa. more

I stayed here with my sister for one night in august before we flew home from pisa airport. The hotel itself is an old convent and has a lovely inner courtyard. The rooms were clean and cool but felt like a prison cell. The breakfast at 8 euros each was expensive for what it was. It is a good 30... more
