when we arrived we were looking forward to viewing our junior suite we were dissapointed at how small the room was there was no lounge as you expect in suites and i thought it lacked quality. the amenities were okay, location of where the hotel was central to all landmarks all within walkin distance. we did eat in the restaurant... more

We had just left traffic filled Florence and felt relaxed and at peace in this lovely hotel near the Duomo. The flower filled garden restaurant with newspapers and a free drink when we arrived couldn't have been more welcome. I have recomended this to my friends and would definetely stay again. The staff was helpful and the room clean and... more

Small rooms - yes - but ideal for a short stay to explore Pisa. Beautiful, traditional decor ideally suited to this listed building. Huge lounge on the 3rd floor with large, flat screen TV for those who want this (we didn't) and Jacuzzi and loungers (both of which we used) in the pretty, colourful garden which was lit up at... more

My partner and I stayed in this hotel for the first time and really enjoyed it. The room service was fantastic and the bedroom overlooked the gorgeous terrace although the rooms were a little small but then that is the style of the building. We would definitely stay in this hotel again when visiting Pisa. It was near to the... more

This hotel is probably not qualified to have 5 stars according to most 5 star hotels I have stayed in, However, despite the faux 5 star rating the hotel staff is very friendly and helpful and the location is within walking distance of several Pisa attractions including the Leaning Tower of Pisa. I probably had one of the smallest rooms... more

This hotel is not even close to being a 5* we were very disapointed and totaly deflated when we arrived for our 1 night stay there. It is a complete mystery how it managed to get a 5* listing as it lacked any facilities normally associated with a hotel in its class. The rooms were very small, the Restaurant was... more

This was our third visit to dell'Orologio and we like it better every time. First a word of warning. If you need a big room and a bath to be happy you won't like this hotel - the website gives you fair warning. This is a medieval building and the rooms have been shoehorned in - they really are tiny... more

I only stayed for one night after arriving into Pisa and before departing to Florence. Then stayed there again on my way back before I left to head back to NYC. The hotel is in a very quiet area of town. Small, quaint streets. But the city is small enough that is is a 5 minute walk to shopping and... more

This hotel has a better opinion of itself than we did. My partner & I booked this via the web and there was a special offer of an upgrade to a junior suite at only a marginal extra cost. On arival we were greeted with a welcome drink and were given some notes of how the hotel likes to look... more
