The hotel is a charming place. Could be a good romantic boutique hotel from it's substance. Since you find much other ratings here just three tops and No gos of that place Top: Good located - 5 minute walk to the tower Romantic charme at night, old building Good air conditioning in hot summer Bad: Tiny rooms (just bed and... We stayed here for two nights at the end of our trip to Italy. The hotel is very conveniently located, approx. 10 minute walk to Leaning Tower of Pisa, restaurants, shopping, etc. It is a very old, charming hotel. The room was very clean and the private bath very large. Breakfast is served outside in the courtyard/garden. Great place to... More

Mmmm - I am not sure why people are so down on this place. Ok lets be fair - it is not a 5 star hotel by our (or I suspect anybody elses) standards, but we thought it was more than suitable. It is in an old building and the rooms are quite dark, but this is normal in a... More

This hotel was absolutely awful. The whole place is rather tatty & tired. Our room was tiny - not enough space for two adults and two suitcases and it was dingy and claustrophobic. The bathroom smelled awful and was dark (only one lightbulb working). The receptionists were unhelpful and bordered on rude. Breakfast was okay. I would not recommend this... More

Do not even think of staying here. One man show, doorman and bartender and helper. The lady at the front desk was very snotty. The room was horrible, Motel SIX is better, Room was tiny. The A/C was practically non working, room smelled awful and the had an automatic air freshner gadget. The restaurant was closed for repairs. The Bar... More

Only stayed one night and the main attraction was its proximity to the centre. Few minutes walk to the Tower. Hotel staff very helpful and room was quiet, a little dark which was OK for one night. Bathroom with slanted roof a bit challenging for my partner at 6ft tall. Quirky decor. Breakfast not inspiring.

This was meant to be a 5 star hotel but apart from the breakfast, it did not fall into that category. The room was on the small side, the air conditioning was not efficient and there was no plug in the basin. However the receptionist on arrival was very pleasant although the barman on duty at breakfast was not particularly... More

Hotel Relais dell'Orologio is in the heart of Pisa across the river from the train station but only blocks from the Leaning Tower. ‎The room was small but adequate (and had shampoo and soap). The restaurant at the hotel was closed at night the days we were there but there are plenty of places within walking distance. It's a nice... More

I agree with reviewers who say this isn't a five-star experience. Let's start with the good things. Our room was very spacious (a family suite) and well suited to our needs with a good sized room for our children separated from our room with sliding doors or a curtain. The location is great - five minutes walk from the Leaning... More

Pisa is a great location for a week end. This hotel is located in the best place, between Piazza dei Miracoli and Piazza dei Cavalieri. For me, the location was really unique, as you feel surrounded by Italian history : the best Italian university - Normale - with his wonderful Piazza, the tower of Conte Ugolino so important in Dante's...
