We really enjoyed our stay here - we had room 201 which has three beds - there's plenty of space as well as an extra section of the room which can be useful for changing/bags. The beds were comfortable - I slept well but I know both my friends were bothered by the large skylight in the room which did... More

Casa San Tommaso definitely has prime location - it is very close to Piazza dei Miracoli, yet in a quiet street. The service staff was also nice and helpful. Inn has free wi-fi. Still, these good things did not improve my feelings about the room, which was mediocre at best. For one thing, to call it 3-person room is wishful... More

The location is really close to -probably- one of the few things you will visit in this city: piazza dei miracoli. It has only a 5 minutes walk to reach the entrance. The owners are very helpful and friendly. The place itself is so charming, it looks like and Renaissance house renovated. It does not have elevator so the stairs... More

lovely hotel, €13 cab fare from airport and within five minutes walk to tower. My 7yr old fell in love with Caterina! Would recommend to anyone. Wifi very good and fast. No noise noise at all considering location. Easy walk to train station and lovely restaurants surrounding.

Great location close to the tower and many shops and restaurants. Friendly service at front desk. Reasonable rates . We found the room to be very comfortable, charming decor . Well equipped bathroom, very clean. If you need an elevator you may be out of luck. We didn't see one. Free WiFi but I couldn't access it in our room.... More

Just stayed here for one night. The rooms on the second floor, just underneath the ceiling, are extremely claustrophobic. You can't stand in about 1/3 of the space, and there is only a tiny window. I felt like I was in a dungeon. While the location is great and the place has potential, the charm is lost in the furniture,... More

We stayed in this charming little Hotel for 3 nights in August 2014. It was clean, tidy and had every ammenity we could expect. The price was great, the location was great and the staff were brilliant - so friendly. Thankyou so much for helping make our time in Pisa a special one! :)

The location is excellent: very close to the walls and easy to leave/access for those who decide to explore Tuscany but just a few minutes walking distance from the historical sites (also the Tower, of course). It is an old building, and yet it offers the necessary comfort to a small family. The equipment is basic (a small fridge, descent... More

We stayed at Casa San Tommaso for two nights. The room was sweet, with exposed beams and bricks in the roof. The hotel has no breakfast, but the receptionist helped us find a good place to eat (Filter had English breakfast, pancakes ++). There is not much space to be outside of the room, but it's a good place to... More

I am guessing that this old building once housed a religious community before being repurposed as a hotel. Maybe that's why the first single room I was shown had a definite penitential quality -- tiny and claustrophobic. Thankfully the delightful Lavinia at the reception upgraded me to a still-simple but much more pleasant alternative. The room was clean, the air... More
