lovely hotel, €13 cab fare from airport and within five minutes walk to tower. My 7yr old fell in love with Caterina! Would recommend to anyone. Wifi very good and fast. No noise noise at all considering location. Easy walk to train station and lovely restaurants surrounding.

Great location close to the tower and many shops and restaurants. Friendly service at front desk. Reasonable rates . We found the room to be very comfortable, charming decor . Well equipped bathroom, very clean. If you need an elevator you may be out of luck. We didn't see one. Free WiFi but I couldn't access it in our room.... More

Just stayed here for one night. The rooms on the second floor, just underneath the ceiling, are extremely claustrophobic. You can't stand in about 1/3 of the space, and there is only a tiny window. I felt like I was in a dungeon. While the location is great and the place has potential, the charm is lost in the furniture,... More

We stayed in this charming little Hotel for 3 nights in August 2014. It was clean, tidy and had every ammenity we could expect. The price was great, the location was great and the staff were brilliant - so friendly. Thankyou so much for helping make our time in Pisa a special one! :)

The location is excellent: very close to the walls and easy to leave/access for those who decide to explore Tuscany but just a few minutes walking distance from the historical sites (also the Tower, of course). It is an old building, and yet it offers the necessary comfort to a small family. The equipment is basic (a small fridge, descent... More

We stayed at Casa San Tommaso for two nights. The room was sweet, with exposed beams and bricks in the roof. The hotel has no breakfast, but the receptionist helped us find a good place to eat (Filter had English breakfast, pancakes ++). There is not much space to be outside of the room, but it's a good place to... More

I am guessing that this old building once housed a religious community before being repurposed as a hotel. Maybe that's why the first single room I was shown had a definite penitential quality -- tiny and claustrophobic. Thankfully the delightful Lavinia at the reception upgraded me to a still-simple but much more pleasant alternative. The room was clean, the air... More

Situated in a very strategical position, Casa San Tommaso is not a luxury hotel, but it's clean and comfortable. It is situated at 5 minutes walking from the tower and from the center and it's perfect also for Sant'Anna students. The personnel is kind, but the rooms are very basic. Nice shower. Internet doesn't work properly and you cannot have breakfast... More

We arrived after a late flight and were initially allocated a twin room, even though we had requested a double on booking; this was changed, although somewhat reluctantly, when we pointed this out. It is located a short walk away from the Tower and Duomo in a quiet street. It is in an attractive old building and could benefit from... More

Casa San Tommaso is very close to the Leaning Tower and is great for a quick visit to Pisa. We arrived in the afternoon and left the next morning and it was very easy to walk to the major sights and nearby restaurants. The room was adequate. It had a refrigerator which was good but no coffee or tea making... More
