I was in Pisa for work, not the average tourist. I needed accommodation near the University, which is in the centre of town, near Piazza dei Miracoli. Turned out that Hotel Amalfitana was the best option, as recommended by my colleagues in Pisa. The bus from the airport stops nearby, which is good. The Hotel itself looks like an old... More

This hotel is in a good location, it is old but not dirty and the a/c worked, but those are the only good things about it. Small rooms are to be expected in Europe, but the bath was so small that you had to step over the bidet to get to the toilet and the shower was so tiny I... More

Small rooms, too cold in the winter Next morning told him that I am leaving so he called... More

We arrived at the hotel about 10:30 at night and were trying to get our bearings. We asked the clerk how to get to the leaning tower. When we found out that it was 2-3 blocks straight down the road, we immediately headed there. What a treat to see the tower and cathedral all lit up at night and almost... More

A good hotel if you are only going to sleep there and use the hotel to go around Pisa and other places in Tuscany. Rooms are small but clean and air conditioner effective. Staff extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast is not bad for its price. You may want to try it and try elsewhere. The place is crawling with cafés.... More

There's nothing actually wrong with the place. It is clean and functional and very close to centre. But it looks a bit tired and despite location is not good value. But in high season it maybe that it compares well with other offerings.

This is a very basic hotel located very close to the sightseeing area of Pisa and lots of restaurants. Also it is located at a 15 minutes’ drive from Pisa airport. You will get a bed, bathroom, free wireless, airconditioning and an optional breakfast, so a good place to stay for one night. The hotel staff is friendlier and more... More

We chose this Hotel on the strength of Trip Advisor reviews and were not disappointed. The location is great, close enough to the railway station to walk, and only a stroll from the Duomo and the Torre Pendente. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. A great choice!

Excellent service, good clean room with well equipped bathroom and great shower. Noisy with windows open but shut with aircon on was no problem. A 5 min walk to the tower complimented this hotel. A super place to sightsee Pisa
