This is a real loser. The neighborhood is sketchy, and out of the way. Front desk attendant was rude and not at all helpful. The room was sparse with one lamp that barely illuminated it at all. The bathroom was cramped with a noisy fan that stayed on long after it was turned off. Pick another hotel!!

A last second change in our travel plans caused us to find a place in Pisa on short notice. A certain site said the Verdi was usually priced so much more that we just grabbed it. Shame on me for not checking here first. From the sullen front desk staff to the rock hard mattress to the shower only Olive... More

this is a typical hotel for its class with both some pluses and minuses.location is good, far enough away from the really touristy areas, but close enough to easily walk.many good restaurants nearby.staff spoke English and was helpful. Breakfast typical Italian with breads, meat, cheese etc. fix your own coffee from the coffee machine. Rooms were adequate with usual small bathroom. Bathroom would be... More

Stayed one night with 9 people and it was overall quite decent. Bathroom was quite dirty in honesty, and outdated, but it does the job on a tightish budget. Location was supreme because of the proximity to the tower, and the majority of the hotel looks quite nice too. Exactly what we wanted, though we would have preferred something a... More

we were some years ago in Pisa and the hotel was great. The rooms was not small at all, breakfast was also good, a lot of choices to made from. Good location, no noise problems in the night and the staff was very helpful and they all spoke english very well. Highly recommended

The Hotel is well located, about a 15 minute walk to train station and Leaning Tower. It is near G. Galileo home and the Borgo Stretto. The area is quite and safe. While the hotel could certainly use some renovations - it was clean, rooms were large, A/C, breakfast included and very good value for the prices charged. We found... More

The hotel is not close to the train station so you have to get a taxi. The room was old and the bathroom had a bad smell. In order to go to the Pisa tower you have to walk for 15-20 min. The reception staff was polite but the lady in the breakfast area was a disaster. She was rude... More

On the positive side, Hotel Verdi is centrally located and is particularly convenient for university business. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The rooms are rather inexpensive--€60/night on Booking.com for a double used as single. On the other hand, the hotel is somewhat run down. It is acceptably clean, but in need of a complete renovation. The shower in my... More

I've stayed at the Hotel Verdi a few years ago and had been really impressed with it. However, this time round wasn't too impressed. The hotel, whilst clean and such like, is badly in need of a renovation and upgrade. Our room was OK, but the shower room was so, so tiny. As we were staying only one night, it... More

I think the other Trip advisors reviews were a bit generous. The hotel is nice and central but has seen better days, and does feel a bitty shabby. The breakfast was pretty average. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Ok for a one night stay
