I recently stayed at the Grand Hotel Duomo and it was well worth it! The location was fantastic being a couple hundred meters away from the Duomo, Torre (Leaning Tower of Pisa), and Baptistry. The 5th floor, rooftop view was amazing at night. Breakfast is available and is the standard spread - pastries, fruit, breads, cereal, sliced meats, cheese, etc.... More

This hotel's perfect location right by the Leaning Tower is a double edged sword. It has the potential to be something quite fantastic, but where the hotel is situated means that it doesn't have to be. It is basic and clean, but tired. Rooms offer the bare minimum in comfort; there are no coffee making facilities or an iron. No... More

Literally less than 100 yards away from the Leaning Tower, the location is absolutely optimal. The rooftop terrace is just icing on the cake. This was where my wife and I spent our first night in Italy on a recent trip to Tuscany. We'd seen on Google Maps that it was very close to Pisa's Cathedral/Leaning Tower complex, but we... More

We arrived quite late, 7pm as we had engine failure on our motorbike and had to push it the last 500 yards (past the leaning tower, I wish I had a picture of that)! The reception staff were so helpful, They helped us with arranging a garage and the potential of an extended stay at the hotel if the bike... More

Can't get much closer and stunning views from the roof ( although I was expecting dinner on the rooftop a possibility.-there was none) Location is in the heart of the touristy district. Plenty of local shops and food plentiful . A 10 minute walk across the water is a better overall location if you want to experience it all. If... More

The most remarkable aspect of this hotel is definitely the location. Wow! Literally 2 minutes walk to the Leaning Tower. This was fantastic as we were able to leisurely wake up and walk over to the Leaning Tower, and still be early! We had just finished our tour when we saw the crowds heading in! The hotel was so close... More

This is a gem of a hotel, and is quite possibly the nearest to the Tower! Rooms are a bit dated, but this is compensated for the locality and friendly staff!!! Ask for a room facing the front of the hotel and take in the crowds below you. Make sure you have a drink on the rooftop which has a... More

This is a historic hotel with beautiful marble throughout. It is a bit dated, but nostalgic. But the terrace is the most wonderful amenity of the hotel. Everyone can access the rooftop terrace and the view of the tower and duomo is so romantic, especially at night. The restaurant has a very good breakfast, though the coffee dispensing machine wasn't... More

- The hotel is advertised with parking which when we arrived was not available so We had to park on the other side of the town in a secure parking lot (its not easy to find one in Pisa). Apologies were not forthcoming. - The rooms are VERY dated - the leaning tower actually looks newer.... - Cleanlyness is questionable.... More

The location of this hotel is fantastic- a mere stones throw away from the tower and the other sites around there. There are also many restaurants and shops around the hotel which makes it very convenient . The hotel also offers free wi-fi in the room and can also offer gluten free dishes. The only downside to this hotel is... More
