We stayed for a week, to attend the Puccini festival at Torre Del Lago, and because of its proximity to Pisa airport as other family members were coming later in the week. This is an excelent B&B, more like a boutique hotel ( without dinners), and I would recomend it to anyone.Service is very good, as is the continental breakfast,... More

Stayed here for 5 nights was a lovely Hotel. Monica could not do enough to make experience any better she is the perfect hostess. In the mornings we would say where we where heading off to and she would either print off times for trains or a map of where we where heading. We are looking to return very soon.... More

We booked one night here at either end of our two week holiday and I am looking toward to returning. Monica abduction her husband could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. Everything is spotlessly clean and the breakfast is great. I would not hesitate to recommend this place.

We chose to stay here one night on our trip to Tuscany and wished we had booked a week! The whole place is absolutely lovely - situated only a short walk from the center of Pisa, yet in a very pleasant and quiet area. The room was cosy and the breakfast excellent - all our dietary needs were immediately seen... More

Booked only for one night thinking that it would be easier to make an early flight back to JFK. Thanks to Monica, we had a wonderful experience: upon our arrival Monica was so nice and anticipated our immediate needs. We arrived a little early but she immediately offered the bathroom, where to place our bags and got us equipped with... More

I spent a lot of times researching which hotel to stay at during a family stay in Pisa, I opted for Il Mattino based on reviews. I was delighted with my choice, Monica (the owner) picked us up from the airport, had a map of Pisa ready with restaurants identified. The room was spotlessly clean and fresh towels each day.... I wholeheartedly agree with the many people who give Il Matinno a top rating. But what makes this places exceptional is Monica, who is both kind and generous. I was exhausted when I arrived and, being advanced in years, had barely enough strength left to carry my luggage up to my room. Not only was Monica quick to take it... More

This place is a lovely B&B and the owner/host is very accommodating. Had trouble finding which is pretty much the same as all the accommodation I booked in Italy. Glad I booked this place as when looking around Pisa there wasn't much else I like about the town other than seeing the leaning tower.

We decided on Il Mattino based on the good reviews. And they were right. Monica is a great host and very attentive. The B&B is very nice and clean. Room was big enough to fit 2 adults and 2 kids comfortably. The location is also very good, walking distance to all attractions. We were also able to park for free... More

This is a fine B and B run by a lovely lady that works long hard hours keeping things top notch; she is also a practicing architect and you can see the results of her work on the B and B itself. Breakfast is great and home made; best capuciano we had in 18 days. It is 15 min easy... More
